ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

HAHA, Bioxx thinks at all!!they couldn't include the anvil part anyway, every single world you make has different anvil "recipes" for the forged items, so it would be kind of difficult to add a pseudo-random recipe in a plugin, don't you think?

The best guide for now is Bioxx. Wiki hasn't a guide for this.At the risk of a hijack... Is there a decent guide for agriculture yet? I have numerous small questions which would probably be better served by a guide. For instance, how do I know if the soil is irrigated? I don't see a texture change or anything.

Yes, I forgot that the smoke is buggied. Anyway after 18 hours you will find a black block in the pit. Just dig it with a shovel until it doesn't disappear because it stores all the charcoal.I think that's still bugged. Give it about 1 day awake in-game (18 hours to be precise) and check to see if it is finished.

I can craft it, so I deduce you installed something wrong. Try reinstall.I'm using Beta v2 Build 49i and am trying to make a writable book and I can't seem to craft it.
I can make the book fine but putting it in a crafting grid with the ink and feather does nothing.
Is this going to be added back in later or left out?

Maybe you generated the terrain before putting the mod in the mods folder, because when you start the server to create all the folders, you may notice that it says generating level 1%, 30%...If that's your problem, you must delete the world folder.Ok, so the problem I'm having is that I'm getting some of the mechanics of TFC on my server, but none of the terrain is TFC, just vanilla. There's no pebbles on the ground, the dirt and stone is vanilla, I can't punch wood like i'm supposed to, but I also don't get sticks from leaves and start bugging out when I try walking through them. I've gotten this result with the zipped file in the mods and core mods folders, and trying to put the files directly into the server.jar. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Just download the new b2 build49i, it has a lot of bugfixes.i assume b49 is the build version of TFcraft if so its TFCraft-Universal-Core-B2-Build49

Really? Then I suggest that you can place wooden planks (the mod planks, not the vanilla) in the same way you can place log piles.Because, the forum moderator knows this has great potential to help with the suggestion process.

Hi and welcome to the forum. What you need to make a working charcoal pit is to close that giant hole in the middle with another log pile, then you place the dirt in a way that no wood pile can see the outside. You know if it work because after some seconds a black smoke comes out from the top.Sorry but I'm new and I have searched the wiki and this forum but could not find an answer. They all say to cover your charcoal pit with dirt or non-flammable material. But every time I try to build one the dirt falls through the hole at the top and puts out the firepit. I'm still in the stone age and I don't know how to get any non-flammable material that isn't affected by gravity.

But if you fall in one of Just Another Guy's falling traps how can you be injured by animals. You can also forget your knife in the grass near the trap... then you are ended.nah, that would be too quick, you would either have to wait untill wild animals come and kill you or die of thirst, or probably of whatever injuries you got from falling in that pit in the first place, there shouldnt be a "oh shit i screwed up lemme just get back to my spawn point" button. that would be to easy
