ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

I really hope he changes smithing. taking more than an anvil hopefully, but at least changing the numbers on the anvil buttons. too many people have figured out the numbers. maybe a random choice of 3 numbers for each button instead of set numbers?

he is only suspended, not banned. and as for the choice between two, I think it's the second. because while in his mind it may have been a good deed, it kinda ruins the fun for anyone just starting to learn to smith.

I have this problem occasionaly. heat your bloomery and throw in an empty mold. there is probably some invisible ore in there somewhere. if that's not it, I can't help you.

yeah, good smiths, myself included, either know the numbers or the combination. and it's fine if we do. It's great you want perfection for your town and all, just don;t ruin smithing for other people. the least you could have done was add a spoiler tag to the table. you can ignore them, sure,but you made them bright red and green, so your eyes are attracted to them. even if you don't look directly you subconciously remember and recall them later. EDIT: wow, much longer than I expected

redpower 2 hasn't even passed pre release, technically speaking. I don;t think redpower 3 is anywhere close.

most peoplle probably read spoiler and think, "Well, not like they're gonna give us the exact sequence for every tool.." yet he pretty much did just that. I personaly figured out this table for smithing a long time ago, but I never shared it so that smithing perfect tools was still an achievement for other people. even though this was gathered in game and not from the code, I think dunk and bioxx are still gonna be kinda mad. It ruins the point of learning how to make great tools for yourself.

can an old buddy of mine from the tech mod world get whitelisted here too? his IGN is mrlambo1399. -
the enderman mechanic wouldn't work for something like npc guards. it works a little different. it's a random event and they can only pick up a small selection of vanilla blocks.

I should point out the invasion mod does have mobs which place and break blocks, showing that it is possible. I also agree that we should get a subforum for the kingdoms discussion instead of a single thread.

there are 43 pages and I'm kinda lazy so if I missed something, sorry. has anyone suggested something like a block that takes the stone or wooden structure it is placed in and makes it be recognised as a bank and each chest recognised as an account? you could set an interest rate and value for things like gems or coins, and have interest paid based on what's in the chest at the end of the month and what's in the chest next to the bank block. is something like that possible through forge? cause I think bukkit can do it and am unsure about forge's current ability to do that sort of thing.

yeah, that would be good, except that lava flowing into water and doing nothing is alot less realistic than infinite cobble.

I don't know, at the moment stone is semi renewable, ever heard of cobble gen? It's a pain to make ne but atm it still works. Makes vanilla but he can and really needs to fix that to make like gabbro or something. Basalt maybe? Perhaps a random cobble?

I wasn't asking you to. I was only stating that the idea has a use in some servers. perhaps it could be made into a modular install. or an outside mod developer could read this thread and make an addon.
