      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. IGN: jHampster Skype: Haven't used it in a long time. What will you do on the server: Probably try to find a cool community/village to join or something.
  2. [0.79.15] Rhodance's "HugBox" Server [Closing May 22]

IGN: jHampster Age:26 Why this server?: Trying to find a good server to play on, with an active community. 2 sentence description of yourself/interests: I'm a software developer who loves gaming and in general meeting new people and hanging out with friends. As far as interests go, technology pretty much covers a lot of it.
  3. I don't believe there's much warrant in talking about how much water a water jug could carry, because I'm sure that more than one size of jug has been made. Generally speaking though, I do think that a water jug would have more than enough water to last a few days. Waterskins on the other hand of course can have varying sizes as well, but are, as you are getting at here(it seems) smaller than a clay jug. It would make more sense for the go-to traveling water container to be several waterskins or something like that. Also Djakuta, do you have to separate your sentences like that? Paragraphs are much nicer to read, like so: I might be mistaken but a water jug should fit around 1 gallon, no more than that. A waterskin, however, usually fits around half a gallon or two litters. The difference is that the waterskin was made to be portable, to be carried around while traveling or exploring. The clay jug, on the other hand, was made to be used in the house. I have actually seen it used in primitive cultures in third world countries, and they would carry water from the well and fill big clay vessels every day. Water from these would then be used to fill the jugs, which then would be kept by a window to cool off. The jug goes to the table to fill cups and mugs. That's how I saw it being used in communities without piped water. Granted people would use metal canteens for horse traveling, not waterskins. I even fixed some grammatical errors there, too. I would like to also input that it wouldn't make much sense to cool a jug of water in the window, but rather keep in it the coolest, shadiest spot in the home. The sunlight itself would actually heat the water. As for metal canteens, that would be assuming said peoples had access to the proper mechanics to form metal canteens. Waterskins are 'easier' to craft(that being, you don't need to forge metal. Just need leathers and so on. I'm not going to pretend that I know the proper process of actually making one though!)
  4. Seems to be some sort of bug going on in the server right now. I can't break any object at all(its not a town permission mixup, I checked)
  5. 'Grafting'/Sapling tool

This is just an idea I had thought of while playing, and I was wondering if this would be something any of you would consider. Basically it would just be some sort of tool that would increase the chance of obtaining saplings from trees over the chance of getting sticks, or maybe even eliminate getting sticks all together. This tool could possibly be similar to the scythe in that it clears out chunks of leaves at a time rather than just one at a time(or not!), and would possibly by some percent provide you with a higher than average drop rate of saplings, which would increase with the tiers of metal. Now, the thought behind this idea is not to flood your inventory with stacks upon stacks of saplings. That, in my opinion, would be quite overpowered, and frankly would take the fun out of the whole process. It is more to rectify the small problem of sometimes more than not, clearing a tree of its leaves and not receiving a single sapling. (I am aware that certain trees are not supposed to drop saplings for said tree. This item is not intended as a way to receive saplings from these trees) Of course, the item would give a noticeable increase in the drop rate(scaled with metal tiers! I wouldn't expect a copper version to have a large increase of drop rate by any means) Given what I've said here, let me toss out an example of possible parameters for said item: The grafting tool must be crafted from a metalThe rate/percent increase in sapling drop chance would increase depending on metal tier, with maybe some variation within tiers that have multiple tool metals(for example, black bronze would have a slightly better chance than regular bronze, and bismuth bronze would be slightly better than black bronze)The grafting tool would in turn decrease the rate of sticks, proportional to the increased rate at which saplings would dropThe tool could possibly be similar to the scythe in that it would remove multiple leaves at a time, rather than just one blockAnyway, that's my small idea. Thoughts? Questions? Comments about how terrible I am for suggesting this( )?
  6. Speaking of the modpack, I'd like to suggest this mod to possibly be added in: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/morpheus Just a thought for helping with sleeping.
  7. Erian_7, I was mining and unfortunately I got a cave in. However instead of just suffocating and dying, my game crashed and now crashes every time I try to login. Here's a pastebin of the error: http://pastebin.com/h9bjUaC0 I believe if you move my character it should clear up, or something like that. Maybe reload my character from a previous backup or something.
  8. Could just upload a zip of your mods and configs folders to a dropbox, and update it as needed.
  9. I removed ModTweaker as Joriom said and that got it to work. Also for Smart Moving, I was not able to use Smart Moving Universal, but rather had to download Smart Moving 14.6.1. After those changes I can connect, though.
  10. When trying to load up this modpack to check out your server, I get a crash. It seems like it's crashing at ModTweaker. Is it because the version you posted is looking for MC 1.7.X rather than 1.6.4? Here's a pastebin of the crash report: http://pastebin.com/WzTfxs9g
  11. I am also Cylas!
