ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Subscribe to his twitch channel, and you will get emailed when he goes live. As for where he streams, twitch.tv/dunkleosteus As for when, he just kinda streams whenever he feels like it. If you are subscribed to his youtube channel (nikstick22), He posts on there if he is about to stream soon. (This isn't nescecarry, but I just do it. Also on his Youtube channel, he uploads videos of his streams. The ones where he builds the basement of his house (there are 2 parts)are both uploaded to his YouTube channel, and those are the ones where he talks about support beams.

Just sayin', Dunk has stated (in one of his livestreams) (check them out! They are quite entertaining ) that the current support beam mechanic is not to his liking , and insensible, as you said. He plans to fix it in the future, or at least did a few weeks ago. (I don't, however, doubt that he still does think that)

Yes, I was talking about tundra. There SHOULD be snow and just snow up there, but currently, there is no hook for Froge relating to snow that would not require editing base files, or some Java coding jibber-jabber that I really have no clue about whatsoever, that is preventing there from being just snow and ice. Agreed. But I CAN see why they would do that.

I really don't know. The wiki is mainly user edited, and it doesn't seem like many people have been maintaining it recently.

From what I know, of the woods in the game, these are the best for bows: Hickory, Elm, Ash, Maple, and Oak. All of these woods are hardwoods, so the bow durability and strength could be seperated into 2 groups, akin to how knapped tools' durabilities differ based on the group of stone used (Sedimentary, Metamorphic, Igneous Intursive, Igneous Extrusive). Hardwoods would give greater durability than softwoods. Aditionally, I do believe that yew longbows (yew is the best wood for longbows) were carved from the log itself in order to obtain heartwood from the core fo the tree for the bow. So Gismo, you aren't ENTIRELY correct.

Yes This is true. Past 20,000 z in either direction (positive or negative) everything is just tundra. Before that point though, from 0 z (the equator) up until the poles, it gets progressively colder. Also, closer to the equator, you will find more jungles, adn you cannot find jungles past a certain point.
