      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Does it crash with FastCraft when optifine is not present.
  3. Thatch Placement Bug

    TFC2 is early alpha build. I’m not even sure if thatch has fully been implemented. Irregardless you should be posting in the TFC2 section. Lastly Technic isn’t well looked at here. Beyond the loose permission/license enforcement, there is issue that the packs frequently use out of date versions of TFC and are poorly designed in way that cause errors which are wrongly blamed on TFC.
  4. Friendly mobs randomly stop being interactable

    Not a bug that has ever been reported for pack. Unsure of reason unless you’ve added too or modified the pack.
  5. The idea that I had was to create enchantments that gave crushing, piercing or slashing damage. Then just have to use a damage handler reduce the appropriate damage depending on enchantment and it’s level. It may be nessesary to take the damage reduce it and then convert it to generic damage to have quantum armour use energy.
  6. Wood does not fall in TFC.
  7. Primitive Technology TFC add-on mod

    There is a bug in your mod where it makes time go backwards when the server runs, but no players are on. In your ModCommonProxy your are importing the TFC ServerTickHandler instead of your own.
  8. WIP [TFC-0.79.29] TerraFirmaProgressivePack

    This will be an issue caused by a TFC add-on, not TFC. As TooMuchTime-TFC is our implementation of dmillers TooMuchTime I know it isn't to blame. This seems to be a common problem for TFC addons as they copy or call TFC code that results in the time going backwards with the time slowdown. Basically TFC keeps rolling back the tick the number of times you have set in the config before it lets that tick happen. So at 100 it will roll back 99 times before letting the tick to remain. For whatever reason some addons make it so it rolls back the tick 2x instead of just once. Meaning that time runs backwards when no one is online.No matter what value you give this config if it is greater than 0 time will go backwards. EDIT: The add-on that is to blame is likely The TFC Primitive Tech add-on. It imports the TFC ServerTickHandler class instead of importing its own.
  9. Forge not needing chimney

    I reported this when the last update came out. As this doesn't prevent players from progressing it was decided it did not justify an update and so it won't be fixed.
  10. Setting forest fires intentionally?

    Flint and steel were fixed in one of the last updates. It now will light things on fire.
  11. Command does not work

    Very very few people bother with any of the TFC commands.I've never had good luck with the sps commands, didn't have much need for them though. So I doubt anyone really knows if they are bugged or not.

    It will be a you/your modpack issue.

    Yeah I've had moderate success with share codes. The JourneyMap thing is stupid curse and how they do links for mods. The link does current version not version number. So a new release breaks link as the updated hashcode won't match. I'll have to fix it again when I'm back from overseas.
  15. TerrafirmaPack 0.79.29.922build9.0 PACKCODE: Terrafirmacraft (On Pack tab click the Add Pack button in top left. This will prompt you for the PackCode.) An ATLauncher modpack for just TFC and any TFC compatible mods and Addons. You can personalize your instance with mods or just have it pure. You can choose from various utilities, minimaps, client side mods and TFC addons. Just check the ones you want and you are good to go. The only configs provided are OpenEye , CustomMainMenu (a TFC themed main menu is being designed), which are required, and Inventory Tweaks, Better Foliage, Dynamic lights and Hardcore Darkness, which will download their TFC-compatible configs when selected. Server Owners you can use packshare codes to help your players build an instance compatible for your server. Build an instance that has the base mods that players can use on your server. Once the instance is built right-click the TFC logo image and you can generate a Share Code, which your players can enter to automatically generate the proper instance.   16. Bug in the scanLogs function for ItemStack null

    FYI TFC is no longer being maintained, development has moved to TFC2. As no game breaking bugs have been found in more than a year, it is unlikely it will be updated again.

    The tank cart issue is a known bug with RC, which I reported when that version was released. It only occurs with a few fluids, likely to do with how those fluids are registered.

    Unlikely as curse/twitch launcher doesn't allow the config flexibility that ATL allows. There are also a lot of annoying hoops you have to jump through for curse.
  19. Ore blocks are weird... really weird.

    They are TEs, but that isn't reason.The way they are coded the blocks don't have itemblocks, as in the item you have in inventory. What this means is if you cheat in a ore block you will always get a "block" that is meta value 0. So for ore it is copper and for ore2 it is kaolinite I believe. When you place you get transparent block with ore overlay.There is no way to change this, byte code is used to change theirquality. They do have an item for ore, ore2 and ore3 in NEI. However these cheated in blocks apparently can corrupt saves, so they are not coded to be in creative tabs and are hidden in NEI. You can set NEI hiding to false in TFCConfig to see them.
  20. Growing Trees mod port (?)

    TFC does not register biomes like othe mods. There is no Type.HOT, Type.DRY etc. This is why Forestry doesn't work properly. So a call to TFCs temperature and rainfall methods will be needed.
  21. Launcher crash at login

    An entity render is trying to divide by 0. The stacktrace does not indicate which mod.It is unlikely to be due to TFC. Talk to whoever created your modpack. Alternatively make a backup and identify the mod responsible for error by progressively removing mods.
  22. Grief Fix Request

    You need to talk to your servers owner. There is no official TFC server and this is sight for the TFC mod itself.
  23. TerraFirmaStuff A simple add-on that adds some cosmetic blocks. The blocks added will take full advantage of the TFC chisel.   25. Gave the info in PM. For others, TNFC uses a forked version of TFC that makes extensive changes. Fruit tree saplings are now itemblocks, ore classes have been rewritten, tools are now item containers. What this means is any TFC addon likely won't work properly without tweaks. Items won't exist, tools used in crafting will dupe etc. We make no apologies for this as the fork is specifically for our pack and is open sources via AnodeCathodes github.
