      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. no Inventory

Hmm, I don't know how I feel about this idea. On one hand I think for this mod it makes sense... but then again I feel like it's going a LITTLE overboard on realism. Sure realistically who carries 64 rocks in the pockets, and 3 knives 1 shovel an axe and 4 stocks of rye... BUT, the game wouldn't be fun if you had to wait to get a backpack to really move materials. I mean lets be honest even with "no inventory" it still isn't logical to carry 64 bales of thatch let alone 8 of them.I think in this case it's a cool idea, but a necessary evil.
  2. Awesome Anvil Particles -Showering Sparks

I love this idea! I don't know if they already do, but when you cool the metal it should make a huge smoke cloud.
  3. A few suggestions of my own

True, but I feel like this makes more sense. If they're going to use napping then it should be all across the board. Native Americans spent a long time knapping arrow heads. 1 rock could give out 4 arrow heads and I feel like that would be perfectly fine. one stick and one feather gives 4 arrow shafts. It's viable.Maybe the arrow heads are just a pain in the ass for the community. I get that. But personally I love knapping as an idea, and I think more of it should be integrated if possible!
  4. Drinking Water

That's a good possible explanation. I would have to give them credit then. The game is complex.
  5. A few suggestions of my own

Maybe your right about a lumbermill, I guess I was thinking of wood splitting not making lumber.I didn't know about the salt idea, but makes sense. And I personally like napping. Theres also no reason why you can't use a spear or knife.
  6. Drinking Water

If by die you mean the process of dying? Yes when I wasn't in salt water I was being hurt. A note: When I swam in the water I was hurt too. only when I had my feet planted on the ground I would be safe.If you mean did I wait to see if I would die? Well... no, but I assume at 0 health I'd die.I really don't care, but I don't know if you guys do.
  7. A few suggestions of my own

First of all, I love the mod. I've always made my own mods before, I understand it can be hard to add suggestions to your mod. It's your baby, I get it, I wont be angry if you don't use my suggestions, but I hope it will inspire you! 1) Make arrowheads. (If you wanna get fancy you can do small and large arrowheads depending on the target animal. IE: hitting a cow with a large arrow head will hurt more then a the small, but hitting a chicken with a large arrow will allow the chicken to dodge it quickly or something.) 2) Tie horses to a mill (The quern version of a forge) or connect a watermill/windmill to the mill to make the later game process become easier. 3) Add some herbs to the game too adding to the taste of food. 4) Animal hoppers, instead of having to feed all you flock so they don't become wild again, simply put food in the hopper that will attract all the flock until they are feed. Each animal would eat a certain amount. 5) Granary, to make grain last longer. 6) Lumbermill. You stick logs in, and get lumber out. 7) Salt water can go into a vessel and then baked to make salt, OR you can use a bowl. I just want to justify these, because I feel like they can easily be tossed aside as "Making the game easy", and "Defeating the purpose". Grain is SO important in ancient history and in TFC. Feeding animals thus is important. Making bread is easy, but no one wants to sit at a quern when they can have something do it for them. Obviously Wind mills would be hard to make thats a LOT of hide. Water mills would be slightly easier to build, and finally the easiest is to get a horse to do it for you. Animal hoppers are an excellent idea. It's hard to keep track of the animals and a way to feed the flock without standing there and physically feeding them is better. A Lumbermill is something I would LOVE to see added. It doesn't have to be big or anything, but something where you can stick a bunch of logs into it and get lumber. It doesn't even have to be a machine. I'd even like a quern type things for this. Not sure how they ran them in ancient times but, I'm sure they didn't just have one guy in town that took a saw to every log. Anyways I think these additions would make the game even more fun without compromising the point of the game.
  8. Drinking Water

No, I know that, but what I'm saying is that when I stand in salt water i'm not dying of thirst. It's a bug from the change over I'm sure. I know if I'm dying of thirst in real life I can't just stand in salt water and be fine.
  9. Drinking Water

Version #: 79.8SSP/SMP (Single/MultiPlayer): SMP/SSPSuggested Name: Drinking waterSuggested Category: MinorDescription: I started dying of thirst near ocean water, and I actually saved myself by standing in the water. I don't know if this is a feature or what...Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: YesDo you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: No
  10. [Solved][79.6] Sneak Feeding Animals

I'm doing this with refined rice and it doesn't work. I get the same thing. instead of the cow eating it, I'm eating it... I tried to fill myself and try it, once again not working. Update: Just found out that I can only feed the cows ONCE. I was confused because when I did it I heard a burp so I assumed that I had fed myself!
