      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    I found some at one point, but I forget where. When I find it again I'll post coords. And you can tame the bears still, you only need to kill one for its large hide. Until we can breed bears, unlikely, we can't use them for much save for the occasion 3 bits of leather.

    Glad you like it. I usually just wander till I find a bear, knock it into a deep whole and get its large pelt. Then I set my home and starve as much as I like till my crops grow. Lol. or I hunt deer.

    this looks like it has potential, though i would like to make a note: if you plan to keep it around the TFC time period, cannons might be pushing it a bit. things like different types of swords or other arms (such as a pike/ spear) might be good ideas. in the end its your mod and im just giving a humble suggestion. feel free to disregard my post if you like.

    I juse stellar sky, and it works just fine for me on 79.20, do you have the stellarium core for stellar sky? Its a dependency for it. (I think that's what the core is called...) Edit: nevermind about the core file, missed it on my first pass over your post.

    im having an issue making an airship. no matter how many balloons i add, it always ends up as just a regular ship/ boat. any help/ tips/ advice? thanks in advance. Edit, Archimedes Ships 2 fixed this issue.

    i havent had any issues with it, though i dont have the same sky cause i use the Stellar Sky mod, looks epic in its own right and is pretty similar to the sky in the pic above... minus the Milky Way. lol.

    i did a very long and intensive search of all the major MC sites and google to try and find ther most immersive mods for minecraft. lol.

    i use the coins from the warehouse addon. it all counts as bismuth coins though, since that is the lowest tier metal next to tin and nickel.

    you could always use the seed i made a thread for. the forest directly south of spawn has pine, ash, and maple. and the majority of the starting island is gabbro, basalt and rock salt. there is also limestone about 2500 blocks to the west of spawn and the z coord is -14700. there is a medium-sized vein of poor copper within 100 blocks of spawn. ill leave a link for my thread below for quick finding.http://terrafirmacraft.com/f/topic/8255-7918-pretty-good-starting-zone/

    The rain bit would be cool too. Didn't know about the snow though lol I always dug it up before jumping on it. Lol.
  22. I'm not going to make too long of a post, just gonna give a though i had one day while watching the snow build up in my world. In my personal opinion i think that snow blocks should function the same way "transparent blocks" like fluids, thatch, and leaves behave. this would include the various snow layers as well, which would require at least a total of 8 ids/ dmg values that each would slow you down based on how thick the snow is. it would make winter more of a threat and make the player think more on how to survive it, as well as adding a touch of safety against mobs, though not too much. i dont seriously think this will be implemented, but the idea is still nice to consider. all thoughs and counter-points are welcome, let the comments roll.
