np but its mostly because half of this thread is people wondering if the server is down >.<

ok guys for everyone asking is the server down and whatnot. if the server is offline and after 10 min it is still offline then dont wry it happens :/ idk why but im guessing its some kind of a bug. all we have to do is wait a bit and the server will be back online when linux turns it back on.

on the wiki it says that a jukebox can be made with a normal quality diamond and 8 oak planks but for some reason it does not work anymore so im wondering if this is a bug or the wiki is outdated and i just spent way too much time trying to get music disks and this one type of dimond >.<

i can say that this is a real thing >.< on the asshat server i had the same thing happen but instead of blackbronze i used bismuth bronze and did it with double ingots

linuxgod make sure to log off and whatnot because your room mate likes to fly around and blow shit up

so i have read some articals about the enchanting and some people wanted it to be related to gems and i thought about how diablo 2 did enchanting. you some times would find these gems or skulls and then could "enchant" your armor/weps if they had a open socket that could accept the gem/skull. how about that you could get gems from mineing or killing mobs but really rarely. the better the gem quallity the harder it is to find as well. you could also take four of the same gems and make one higher quality gem. all armor and tools that you make would then also have a chance to have a slot or two in them and then you could use an anvil to hammer a gem into a slot. perhaps have emeralds give 1-2 seconds of poison damage, rubys have 1-2 damage by setting the thing you hit on fire and so on.

so i have been playing around in the old alpha versions of the game and i realised a really interesting thing about how things changed because of stackable food. usualy in the old games you would go out with a bit of food usualy a couple of porkchops or wheat like i did because you dont have the inventory space to take with you a years worth of food. when you went out to fight or explore you would then take things acording to what you need like you would take porkchops if you need quick healing because they heal more but you could take wheat that you cant eat directly but could turn into a lot more food. now with terra firma craft i wonder why not have food behave the same way as in the old alpha. it should only be stackable to one and to be able to bring a lot of food with you, you would have to make a mill to make flower and then bring that flower to be able to bake bread instead of jest bringing 64 steaks and being good for a year in game.it would make going out into the wild a lot harder and more of an adventure where you would have to make outposts to be able to resuply from as well as it would also bring the usefulness of meals up as i don't think that they stack and yet can fill you up better then any one peace of steak.

really i have never goten any cave ins at all so ya make them more deadly and not as rare

that would be awesome exept how about not in 1/4 high slabs but in chunks since cobble is basicly a bunch of cobble.

iv had the same problem where i cant stack ingots on the ground :/ odd

love the idea of cloth for diferent climates it would be awsome to go to diferent parts of a server and see diferent clothes being more prevelent such as more straw hats in the tropics and solid woolen clothes in the near arctic

really i hope threre is some danger at night from the mobs jest because i don't think you should be able to jest go out into the wilderness at night and be safe but for the night to be a consideration that you have to think about before you go off anywhere

arrows in general are quite useless versis plate :/ thats why the crosbow was made to begin with wasnt it? to shoot down the damn armored knights/tanks of the medival battle field perhaps you could add cones of fire? so that the more you draw back the bow the more accurate it would be?. crosbows could be way more powerfull but they have a fixed cone of fire and reload 2-3 times slower then a full drawn bow would as well as you cant do it on the move and would stand compleatly unarmed if trying to reload a crosbow. you miss with one and you cant fire again unlike a bow

ya armor should not only affect how much protection you have but also the speed at wich you move. so perhaps have classes of light med and heavy armor? light being chain and leather med being something like scail male and reinforced leather armor like lether with metal studs/bands on it to procect more from weppons. the heavy armor would of course be the plate armor and would reduce speed a lot more.

maple story is actually quite good however i played it about 5ish years ago before they changed the map and added all these new classes so perhaps that

ya basicly that. don't know if this should go in support, suggestions or discussion but you can't shift click peat into firepits. I think this has not been implemented but if its to be a fuel source then why not have the same functionality as logs. not really major jest a annoyance that I have. :/ feel free to move it anywhere you want admins

did you put in the player api? that may be the problem.

for kicks and gigles and its probobly because we have a diferent system of health. lol im gona try and play with flans mod soon. haven't touched it in ages and it will be fun to see what tfc looks from above.
