      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

It doesn't work like that Procedural level generation - yes Items varies across games -no, every item in the game is completely the same in another game The combat system is turn-based instead of real-time - no Permadeath -only as an option, and game designed for multideath gameplay, so, mostly no There's only 1 aspect of roguelike game there, it's not enough. It's just like saying "Minecraft is shooter, because you can shoot arrows"

    It's non-existent actually, devs don't allow us to make official russian translation for tfc wiki Dunno who wrote wiki pages quoted by Joind, but it doesn't even use russian translation of the mod, so it's probably not that useful now. PS Автор, ну что же Вы не используете проверку орфографии в своем браузере, ну стыдно же. Плохое владение языком это не оправдывает.

    Problem there is a difference between vocal majority and true majority. Majority of players is silent, and only a few "active players" will discuss everything on forum. Usually vocal majority will complain about something, and you can't please them. For example now in tfc there's 2 opinions: "tfc is too hard" and "tfc is too easy". Make one of them happy, and others will complain about it. Happy guys will play a game and be silent, unhappy guys will make angry posts, polls, etc. And it's only one example. There's a ton of opinions, and vocal majority will always complain. And sadly we couldn't know what true majority thinks about it, cuz they're playing a game and not read forums if patch not rustle THEIR jimmies.

    Or kill player if all nutrition levels reaches 0. This way you'll not die from starvation in a few days, if your body has enough resources to survive, but you'll die if you don't find any food before your internal resources depletes.

    Exactly. For russian translation the main problem is gender. In russian cooked mutton will be "ПриготовленнАЯ баранина", but cooked calamari will be "ПриготовленнЫЙ кальмар". So, when we see "ПриготовленнЫЙ баранина" it cracks us up. If we move adjectives in tooltip we'll have something like this for russian: Баранина Приготовлено Солено and for english: Mutton Cooked Salted It's ok at least for russian and for english. Don't know about french.

    I'm not sure it's a bug. Don't forget, that you need to have more then 85% nutrition, 80 isn't enough. And if you go to sleep while you're starving, it's logical for me, that you'll probably die.

    Yep, that's it. But you're probably need to set blood off in this mod. It crashes the game at least for me. I'm using SEUS 10.1, but I took water shader from SEUS 10.1 preview 2 (I just like it more) with fix from my previous post. I'm also using other graphic mods: Dynamic lights, blocks3d mod and obviously optifine

After that the hammerman "beat the heated bloom with a hammer to drive the molten slag out of it, and then to draw the bloom out into a bar" So, as I said, basic idea behind this process is to reduce carbon content by oxidizing it, removing slag by hammer is an additional operation. Easy and believable possible fix: To produce steel: 1) Melt pig iron ingot. It produces high carbon steel (liquid), that solidifies in high carbon steel bloom. 2) Work it on anvil. It produces high carbon steel ingot. 3) Melt high carbon steel ingot. It produces steel (liquid), that solidifies in steel bloom. 4) Work it on anvil. it produces steel ingot. If you want to make steel by forging, you can use method of production of damascus steel PS Don't take this wrong, I don't bitching or something. If I did not like tfc, I wouldn't be writing anything. I just point on mistake, so you can fix it.

    Usually you'll use pig iron instead of iron ore. As you mention, the main goal is to reduce carbon contents in it. There are many methods for achieving this result, but it's a different story.For tfc most suitable method is Bessemer process. Maybe damaskus steel production will be ok.

    New method of producing steel has nothing to do with reality actually. In real life you can't make steel by forging hot pig iron.

  24. ну по порядку 1) согласен с изменением 2) согласен с изменением 3) наверно орешник 4) ничего лучше в голову не приходит 5) можно назвать лигатурой (лигатура для черной стали например). не фонтан с точки зрения науки, но все же лучше чем "слабая" сталь 6) протекшнметр я б назвал спаунметром, просто чтоб понятно было. 7) "приготовленная еда" по моему стоит заменить на "жаренная еда", исключение приготовленное яйцо - лучше пусть будет яичница двойной слиток/лист мне кажется лучше обозвать большим слитком/листом
