If anyone playing on Verelina's server want to play a game similar called "TechnodeFirmaCraft" you can join us via the ATLauncher at www.extrokoldgames.com The server only started about 6 days ago and we have about 20 or so people playing sporadically and can have many more. Also once again if anyone wants to contact me I'm in the teamspeak channel most evenings which has the same address www.extrokold.com I know it means starting over for a lot of you which is a bummer. But this game really is amazing. It's everything terrafirmacraft with a bunch of advanced tech and forestry mods and all sorts of other crazy things to explore. You don't really get into the crazy stuff much until after you get red/blue steel but there are small additions along the way even in early game that make things even more interesting like bamboo. I made my initial base entirely out of bamboo because the mobs can't walk through it (skellys can shoot through it but not easily) and it grows so fast it will literally pop up to it's 8-9 block full height in front of your eyes in just a few minutes. Sleeping bags that let you reset the night cycle to day without moving your spawn point from the bed you set it at. Then there is the iron era. You can get a rolling machine and water wheel to produce electricity to run it around there and it makes making sheets and stuff a lot faster and easier. And there's a bunch of uses for previously useless TFC ores like lead. It's a fun game and I highly recommend it. Say hi if see me on the server. I have been trying to get back on since I died horribly and dropped a bunch of good stuff right where I wanted to build my permanent home but I've been stupid busy and getting treatment for my back. Maybe later today. I'll b e back with a vengeance soon but the last few days have been too booked for me.

You can make your own mod launcher packs you know. I'd recommend exploring that if you can't install the mods directly yourself. That' said... I'm 45 and shitty with computers and I figured it out. It's not that hard to install the mods. Good luck.

Ouch... lost like 8 hours of work in my mine. Thank you for keeping it up and running though. I really appreciate efforts like this. This is my 3rd time in a game of TFC because the servers before this all crashed and were unrecoverable before I got out of the iron age... I really want to play the game through this time. Thanks again.

Verelina, first just wanted to thank you for having the server up. I really like barebones TFC and other than the boat dispenser at spawn this is about as bare bones as it gets. I've been playing four a couple weeks now on and off and it's been pretty great. I have been killed somewhat frequently by lag. So I've avoided playing during the day. Often the server just freezes... you hear a lot of hitting sounds and then BAM! dead. I was hoping to go into the Iron Age today but the server appears to be eating itself today. Everyone who has tried to play today has left because the lag is so bad. I kept getting kicked every few seconds. I did check to make sure it wasn't on my end. Did a speed test (a not impressive but solid 20+mps) and all the other sites I have running are fine. Might I suggest a twice a day reboot instead of just the one? I think it might clear up some of the problems with the daytime lag. Thanks again. Really appreciate the playspace.
