ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

For the right materials, sometimes, i walk more then 5km away from my base... i look at this as just-around-the-corner.In RL needed stuff travels much-much more then 5km. TFC is not supposed to be easy ... it's supposed to be challenging. I feel it should be MUCH more harder then it is now ... so challenging that you get a few headaches figuring things out. I would also use the wiki only for hints on how stuff works...to point you in the right direction...but i guess thats not so practical because someone would put up a wiki themselves with all the info he/they found.

This server runs on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Linux distro....so no bat files here Server is English, but i'd like to use a better chat system...with something like [DE] or [EN] channels...that would be coolAnd the 128GB RAM is something that is on my wish-list ... with that kind of server, we could run a few servers with different game-play aspects. note to me: a good chat...hmm...i think i have to start with my own moding.

You will have to give us a step-by-step on how you installed your server, so we can try and pinpoint where the problem is. You can also check my signature....maybe you missed something setting everything up.

Very interesting. Almost the same thing i had in mine, and was searching for....the reason i dedicated a server also, but without a white-list. I'd like to see where this goes How many slots can the server handle? Would be cool if many people could work on building a big town where everyone can live and prosper...help each other master TFC. Even get new ideas for the devs to make it even better.

You can get a max of 8 Charcoal per pile of wood (16 logs)...but you do not always get the max. And you did fill up the pit with wood piles...right

I use Magic Launcher also and newer touch the minecraft.jar.

We still don't know your PC specs. CPU: ? RAM: ? Graphics: ? OS: ? (32bit or 64bit) Antivirus/spam program: ? What is running besides Minecraft? How many Java installations do you have ( C:Program FilesJava?? or/and C:Program Files(x86)?? ) ? A mod list you are using would also help. There are many factors that could be the source of your problem. We need more info to make any good suggestions.

It's not ... you need a Scribing table to make a plan for the saw... so you can make one. And to make a Scribing table, you need a Crafting table.
