      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Ingame money

IMO all that is needed is a multiblock coin making press, where only the server owner, or admin, has the right to use it. (or anyone that gets that role) Coins can be exchanged for copper, silver or gold ingots which are then used to make more coins. These coins are a normal item in your inventory that can be lost just like IRL. There is no need to control anything else, because once the coins get out there, everything will fall into place and just, work One more thing that would fit into all this, is an item exchange GUI. We tend to over complicate stuff, but very often, the most simple things work best.
  2. Interesting, i tested all the pipes and they worked, i guess i need to test them some more Wood, obsidian, and lazuli pipes should not be craftable, i'll look into that also.
  3. Yeah, the quarry is also all BC code, will try to finish all that in a few weeks

  5. TFC Community Server [OFFLINE]

No, it's offline due to inactivity. I forgot to update the OP ... it's fixed now..
  6. Charcoal pit

    Fixed in B79.
  7. Instant cooking of clay items

    Fixed in B79.
  8. TFC Music - Where can I get it?

Just for your info ... if you decide to share that is -- http://terrafirmacraft.com/f/topic/2295-2-of-the-new-songs-have-random-names/?p=60839
  9. Crickets, frogs, bear, deer and pheasant sounds are already added to B79. Before doing any work, i would suggest you first look at the Build79 branch. You can find all the sounds here. No need to spend time in doing something that has already been done, except it needs to be re-done edit: also a link to your Misery mod would be nice
  10. That is probably because the code for mining wells and quarries are all from BC, and some of the blocks are ok the way they are, but i was(am) planing on converting a few blocks, like the mining well, into multiblock structures, that need certain materials to function properly. You will, for example, need water proof pipes to drill for oil or water. So if you want to drill 80 blocks deep, you will need 80 pipes to get there
  11. Rotarycraft is a nicely done mod, but i can't see how it would fit into TFC. It's just too high tech for TFC, imho. (it even has a movie projector 0.o) And there is a lot of items&blocks which would need a TON of work to properly integrate into the TFC world. Sorry, but i'd rather invest that time in coding TFC
  12. Plugin Problems

Are you starting the minecraft_server.jar file or the forge jar file?
  13. You can find Oil only in Sedimentary stone layers --> http://wiki.terrafirmacraft.com/Stone There is also a chance where you can find an oil seep on the surface, something like this --> http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/seeps/what.html
  14. That version of BuildCraft was for the OLD mc 1.5.1 Download and use -- BuildCraft 4.2.2 for Minecraft 1.6.4 Which you can find here -- http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/download/
  15. Ok then, i had to recode the oil gen (almost) from scratch, but it's much better now, at least i think so
  16. Employed :D

Congrats, i wish you great success and hope you like it, and how do they say, "Enjoy the new greener pastures"
  17. Charcoal pit

Charcoal pits are (almost) fixed in B79, just need to consider and add the surrounded-with-invalid-blocks check A firepit has no need for extra burning wood when starting a charcoal pit, that was(is) a bug, which is fixed in B79. You can place a firepit anywhere on the bottom layer to lite a charcoal pit, and all touching logpiles 12 blocks away from the firepit will be effected. This works in B78 and was not changed in B79. One workaround i found for the bug in B78 where the firepit needs wood to burn and keep the charcoal pit going is, -- you can fire up your charcoal pit from any side and keep one side of the firepit open, that will not effect the charcoal pit, that way you can reach the firepit and feed it with the extra wood it needs to keep the charcoal pit burning. Edit: Another one is using a wooden door, and if the door is open or closed makes no difference, so you can open it and check on your firepit any time .. on B78.
  18. Minutor Block Pack TFC 0.78.17

    Ocean = 0Plains = 1Lake = 2HighHills = 3Swampland = 6River = 7Hell = 8Beach = 16Gravelbeach = 17HighHillsEdge = 20RollingHills = 30Mountains = 31MountainsEdge = 32HighPlains = 35DeepOcean = 36 Ignore Hell biome, it's not used at the moment.
  19. Charcoal pit

It will be nice seeing you try the wooden door trick in B79
  20. [Solved] Server .bat run file not working.

    Try using @echo off"C:Program FilesJavajre7binjava.exe" -Xms1G -Xmx2G -jar minecraftforge-universal-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-v164-pregradle.jar
  21. I use most of my free time to find and fix bugs in B79, so i didn't have much time to check all blocks or items and there purpose in the new TFC world. But i will find time (soon) and take a closer look, and all items that don't make sense anymore will be disabled.
  22. Finished (or should i say, almost finished) version 0.8.B78 Still needs a lot of testing, and also need to add 2 new transport pipes, but it's stable enough to start having fun with it
  23. Problem loading the site.

The site was moved and received a new IP address, and your providers DNS is still not up-to-date, which can take some time. One workaround would be to use the public DNS from google 8.8.8.8
  24. Glitches?

What is your Y (F3 Key)? If its around 65, then you probably created a vanilla world. At least that's the only time i had a black sky. And also, this topic should be moved to support.
