      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Yes I love this idea it brings a huge ammount of focus more on farming !! Perahps irraditing is a bit too far fetched but cross breeding could be huge fun !! Imagine grafting fruit trees togther and ending up eventually with something like the whomping willow !! That would great !!

    Personally I love this idea . This would add so much to later game a reason to have mules a reason to have minecarts . My only fear is for early game because the inventory is already hard enough to control as it is . Therefore I think all items should maybe be placeable and you can make baskets/containers much easier . Baskets could be made from bull rushes or something so there is another ealy game storage . This I think would balance it out for me

Originally in tfc 1 animal killing was a big deal you could not just go out snd slaughter an animal because you got so much meat and bones that you wanted to keep. This was then changed with the new butchery skills and for me it removed and huge part of tfc I found myself masacering hundreds of animals to get enough meat.I found myself farming sheep for meat and I was killing hundreds of sheep to get very little meat back ... of course when my butchery skill increased it improved but in early game it removed a large element . I think that in TFC 2 butchery skill should be combined with the orignal system of getting tons of meat. Killing and Hunting I suggest that animals should drop a body so if you killed deer you would get the deers body.This body item should have a damage bar so there could be a new skill hunting. The better hunter you are the less damage to the body. Which means you get more meat . So if you were to shoot the deer with a bow and arrow and novice in your hunting skill the deer would take 20% damage if you shot the deer and had high hunting skill the deer would take 5 % damage. Also all farm animals should run away from the player until the player had befriended them with food as in tfc1 Butchery As minecraft is a childrens game not a horror show and I presume TFC goes along in the same catagory .. this probably does not want to be graphic (imagine little berty peacfully playing tfc and then cutting the guts out of pet horse ... lets not). But this should vaugely go along some realistic lines... My thoughts were : The body item should be placeable and with the knife you right click to remove the hide / fur /leather . Then right click again To remove meat and bones . You always earn alot of meat but the meat has a quality bar which goes up with your butchery skill . The higher the butchery skill the higher the quality . With the higher quality you should get more nutrition to fill up your hunger bar. The bones will also pop out with that last right click. I also think a fun feature might be if that with max butchery skills you can remove the head so you can put it on your wall !! The idea probably could be expanded vastly and made much better but this was my original few ideas ... And it encourages the player to build more rooms so you have a forge/storage room and now butchery room.. Also the adittion of a buchery block made from two logs placed sideways might encourage the player with this behaviour.

    B I have an idea ... with real sailing you tack from side to side so you can go straight into the wind .. if in tfc 2 the only way to get some speed was to go from side to side at an angle the terrain would have more time to load as you are not going straight Or maybe if you where to do teleporting to make it belivable you could make a multi block structure shaped like a ship that when you clicked on a block it then teleport you one way or the other http://www.strangedangers.com/images/content/189119.jpg That is what I feel islands without boats would feel wierd

I know that Bioxx said boats would probably not be added and Instead a telaportation system between islands would be used via portals. This made me sad because one of my faveourite things in TFC is haveing to go off on expeditions walking miles etc and that there is no such thing as a portal . Personally I feel as though boats or some sort of water transportation should be added. Minecraft boats I know are buggy and bad but surely if this island generation is a thing we need boats not portals . Maybe you could add the option for portals as well for those players who hate travel . I suggest that a raft should be added with a sail of skin and some slightly complicated mechanics for example a tiller and ropes like the leashes to control the sail winch it up and down so the time passes quicker . I know this is tricky boats are noutoriously difficult and in an ideal world we would have a raft but I think just speeding up the boats a bit and makeing them unbrakeable would do . Really I would like any solution to avoid Portals . I really think it would be worth spending alot of time working on boats seeing as this is going to islands

    One thing I fell terrafirma craft lacks and with all mods is sleeping How can steve survive without sleeping for days and days ? My suggestion : The basics 1. There is a set number of days you can go with out sleeping. 2. In the calander gui you can see your sleep status. 3. Pressing say "l" will make you go to sleep. 4. After 23 hours (ingame time) you will start getting bad potions effects for a number of seconds the time of the effects will increase untill you have gone 48 hours with out sleep when you will collapse. 5. Collapsing will give a 74% chance that you die instantly or after a few seconds you will wake up with your sleep meter reset. 6. Alchol will remove all bad effects after the 23 hours but when you have drunk alchol you can not see your sleep status. The 48 hour period before colapsing is prolonged to 60 hours but if you do colapse while drunk you have a 92% chance you die 7.You can sleep anywhere at anytime but if you are not on a bed mobs will have a increased spawning rate around you even in day time . At night time with out a bed there will be thousands of mobs. If you sleep at regular times you will have good health and deal more damage to mobs you will not need to eat and drink as much. Please fill in the form to tell me if you like this idea and tell me how it could be added to in the suggestions. Personally I think this would add more of a challenge to the mod. Maybe you sleep better near a fire or under shelter ? Please give me your ideas ? Thank you for reading !!
