      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. What are you looking forward to most in the next update

Not being dead before it comes out. Seriously though, body temperature will make the game very immersive. I'd say that, even more than horses, the addition of the leash/rope/whatever is going to be a huge improvement overall. Hot springs, pipes, volcanoes...meh. Not to depreciate the amount of work that went into them, but they are more of a padding to the core gameplay of the mod IMO.

  3. SMP: Prisons

+1 prison pearl. I'm going to have to agree with renadi, the system works with one of the most fleshed out, popular, and populated servers. TFC's problem is that the playerbase isn't that big, and probably won't be TBH. When you have 90-130 active players at any given time, then you could get some results from meta-game avenues. If no one is there to save you, then you are stuck in the end. All this is irrelevant, unless TFC becomes compatible with bukkit, or they write their own similar system.
  4. the zombie texture is all mixed up, you got zombies with faces for butts lol
  5. Better trade for Multiplayer: The weighing scale

My 2 cents: The scale should just be an interface between 2 people trading, no more, no less. You put something in your side and hit ok, i value it and put what i think its worth in my box and hit ok. Have a decline button on both sides. Simple. I had in idea about coins also. In order to have a coin belong to a kingdom it has to be minted and identified as that kingdoms coin correct? Well if anyone could create gold coins from a gold bar it would defeat the purpose of different kingdoms currency. What if you had a "Minting" block that the leader of a group/king would put in a 5 digit number and a label. That "minting" block and any others with that unique code would produce a unique coin type called "Minecraftian" for example. From then on whenever someone made a "minting" block, if they didn't put in those 5 digits from the King of Minecraft, he couldn't label his coins "Minecraftian" That way the only money that the kingdom might use was his own "Minecraftian" coins. Any metal could be used for coins, but they would all have the label of "Minecraftian" if they used the same 5 digit number. I don't know, maybe different numbers for each coin type so you might have: 12345 - GOLD "Minecraftian Dubloons" 23456 - SILVER "Minecraftian Shillings" 34567 - COPPER "Minecraftian Pennies" Sorry for the long post and slightly unrelated topic, but i had to get that idea out of my head.
  6. Encouraging specialization

What about a perk/flaw system. If they do something with XP, skills for example. You would be able to choose a perk:mining speed increase, and a flaw:decrease woodcutting speed. <-just an example, i know it doesn't make sense. Not really trying to suggest that, but it's a way specialization could be done. Another way, with some sort of skills system, could be skill degradation. When you mine, your mining goes up, but something else goes down. That way there is some sort of balance. Also with this mechanic you would be able to change your mind and go a different way naturally. Maybe the lower the skill the faster it increases.
  7. Axes vs Saws

Basically, metal axes are kind of a waste of an ingot, for now. I'd like to add something about the sword vs mace thing. Is it possible to make different mobs take damage independently, based on types of weapons? Skeletons and spiders take more damage from the mace, while creepers and enderman take more from the sword. All other mobs take damage equally from both. Just my 2 cents. i don't know anything about coding and whatnot, so i don't know what is possible. If this is already on the table please excuse my ignorance.
  8. Also just noticed today, planted bell peppers (at last growth stage at least) have no graphic.
  9. Post your TFcraft Pictures

I just hijacked those veggie garden borders for my settlement. Why haven't I thought of that before? Great work!
  10. [BUG LIST] Post your bugs below

I made a bow and when i shift-clicked the new bow, it stacked with my old one that had low durability. Both bows then had the same low durability, and bows aren't supposed to stack right?
  11. Your chisel creations!!

  12. Dummy's Guide to Double Ingots

The easiest and most reliable way I found to make the tier 0 double ingots is to do two molds at a time. Put flux into the flux spot on the anvil Put the unshaped metal in the middle 2 slots in the forge. Wait until both are liquid Work one mold once it has cooled just enough to solidify, put its ingot into the welding spot Repeat for the second one, they should both still be at their welding temp. Weld, then go straight into working the double ingot. IF you need to make a double sheet or something, good luck, its hard as hell. (for tier 0 metals i mean)
  13. I don't know if you know, but the icon for the quern's handstone and a few seeds, i think green beans and soybeans, are missing. Just fyi, love the work so far, my favorite TP!
  14. Post your TFcraft Pictures

My two friends and I love this mod. We have been playing it for about 4 days now and are addicted. Here's our little settlement of "Breach-Hammer".
