      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Music

What about some Kreator for when you find a massive room crawling with creepers in that deep-ass cave you were exploring? It goes nicely with the adrenaline pumping.
  2. Help oej98!

I just run around paying attention to the rock formations, every once in a while I stumble on some ore... Prospecting is not an option, I'm too lazy for that.
  3. So I looked inside the texture archive...

thats awesome, dunno why I never had the curiosity to look inside the texture files... oh man, I can't wait 'till beta 2 is out >.<
  4. [Offline] TFCraft Server - Prospector's Haven

    1. Minecraft name: Saint_Jimmy 2. Age: 17 3. Your favorite thing about TFCraft: The way it makes minecraft more realistic, and more like an actual survival game (a genre that I really love). Also javelins².
  5. Rainwater

that and maybe being able to use their spikes for traps of stuff like that would also make'em more usefull, 'cause right now, they are only good for making anti-spider walls, and they look rly ugly =/the cactus I mean
  6. Rainwater

After reading other ppl's ideas on how to turn water more usefull (by adding thirst and turning the sea water in to salty water for metalurgy or whatever...) was wondering, what if you got spawned in an island surrounded by hundred miles of sea and no source of freshwater in it? So my idea is that you could collect the rainwater using bowls (making them a placeable item wouldn't be so hard) at first, just so you could survive the first few days, and then, later on evolution path, you could make big wood/stone boxes to store enough water to last for weeks... Actually, you don't have to be in an island, even in swamps, that usualy has bacteria infested waters, or deserts. Another idea I had that is kinda related to the whole water colecting thing, is melting snow to make it drinkable. And all that, ofc, leads to think about disinfecting water by boiling it, but that idea I'll leave for you guys to work on.
  7. The player's current mood.

I like it, except for the "happiness/sadness" bar, that would be turning minecraft into the sims, and I hate that game =/ tho it could be something like a tooltip instead of a bunch of bars clogging the screen. But I'm no programmer, so, as Jivix said, it's probably too hard to code stuff like this
  8. Dual Weilding

I like how it would work with a dynamic lights like mod, right now I have to run around holding a torch, plant it, and check for monsters, and if there's any, swap to my weapon, and after killing the dang creeper, switch back to the torch. And anyone that have ever played any adventure rpg knows that this is bullshit :v ppl wouldn't keep their sword away when they know they might be in danger
  9. Other kinds of wolves

I think that we (by "we" I mean Bioxx ofc x) ) should first focus on adding more animal types, and then, later on, adding more species. After all, there's only 8 diferent animals in the game (well... 9 if you count the giant spider).
  10. New Health and Medicine System

wow, lots of information here. I mostly skipped to the interesting parts, but anyways, I rly like the idea of bandaging your ass after getting it kicked by a bunch of zombies in that cave you found in your basement. This also would add to the inventory managing factor, since would be more stuff to carry on your adventures. About the research stuff... lets just say now I have a reason to put a "M.D." next to my name in the sign on my front porch.. Now, about the bed crafting, I think it fits nicely with @Antice's idea of bed tiers, but I don't think it would be interesting if it were this complicated. And about the wool blocks, I agree with you in that too, it always felt wrong that I could make a wool bed in the floor that was bigger then the actual bed with frame and matress and stuff. so, overall, kudos man. those are some nice ideas you got there :3
  11. Survival

Get food, get water, get shelter, get fire. In simple words x) but seriously, first I would decide if it was best to fish or to search for food inside the island, maybe set up some traps. Then I would search for water, maybe coconuts in case there are no natural fresh water sources. Then I would build a shelter, something that could stand a weak storm, but I could build in a couple of hours. Then I would start a fire to cook my food and scare possible predators, then I would get a harmonica and play it through the night.
  12. Fire Starting

it sounds pretty cool, and makes it all more realistic and fun at the same time. kudos man
  13. More Weaponry

wasn't a stone mace going to be added at some point? I remember reading it somewhere here in the forums... would be awesome since the javelins usually disapear after you don't one-hit monsters with it. (I think they just go through the floor, but it's still almost impossible to get them back, so is the same as disapearing)
  14. Torches should burn out

a few days ago I was wondering why torches don't provide light when you're holding them, is kinda lame that I have to "plant" a torch whenever I'm walking by somewhere a bit darker. mostly when I'm hunting at night, and I have to leave a torch trail behind me... just doesn't feel right...
