      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [0.79.15] Rhodance's "HugBox" Server [Closing May 22]

This. The server had some lag issues randomly. A lot of us disconnected. I did so twice and the second time broke something. Now it says I'm on the server when I'm not and I cannot log back in. :/This is the best, most active server I have found so far to...
  2. [0.79.29] DarkAgeCraft Off Line

ok so i broke the server with an ingot pile. sorry >.>
  3. [0.79.29] DarkAgeCraft Off Line

Minecraft user name:Wayward24 Your Age:28 Your Time Zone: EST Location Country and State:US, OH Tell us a bit about yourself: I enjoy everything about tfc and look forward to experiencing all the new things in b79. That is if I can find a stable server with some active players. I have a group of friends that would likely be following me to what ever server I settle in. At least one other person, and at most five, maybe six, if thats ok. I'm looking for a server that doesnt use tons of warps and teleporting, as I feel it cheapens the experience. I am willing to wait out the test period for the b79 server. Outside of TFC I enjoy maintaining several aquariums and playing too much TF2. Though lately it's planetside. How can you help us: I am very knowledgeable about the mod and have made it to red/blue steel. I like to think I am a decent builder, though that carries no wieght without screen shots of past works.
  4. A single /home would be ok, that way you can regroup with friends if lost. But I'm looking for a server that encourages land and sea trade routes instead of warping and town spawns. Preferably PvE and with at least a few active players. Several of my friends are also waiting for me to find a b79 public server, so 1-5 others would be coming to after I "give the signal". I tried Rhodance's server but as of posting this, its very broken :/ I understand how ingrained the need for teleporting is on public servers, so any active PvE server would be ok to... My friends and I just don't want to get bored quickly on a private server.
  5. [0.79.15] Rhodance's "HugBox" Server [Closing May 22]

IGN:Wayward24 Age:28 Why this server?: I'm looking for a decent coop TFC server. Also I already have an enjin/forum account.Actually I could have sworn I was already whitelisted on this server... 2 sentence description of yourself/interests:I am a mature, often quiet in global chat minecrafter, that wishes to build a nice town on a large lake while enjoying the changes in tfc. Outside of minecraft I maintain several aquariums and play too much TF2.
  6. I tested this in single player to see if it was just our server. The first 2 or 3 ingots combine. Eveything after that turned into a ghost item. They could be picked up, at which point they would appear, then be placed in the player inventory and vanish instantly. Double ingots could still be moved, but not interacted with further. After a save and quit, then restarting the world, only the last double ingot made after the dissapearing started would be in my inventory. The only thing I have besides forge and TFC b78.5 is the latest version of optifine for 1.6.4.It seems like this bug desyncs the ingots from the server so they cant be recovered at all. Resolving this issue may fix smithing desync issues. Also I found that boats often desynced, ejecting me ~40 blocks behind where I was when I "dismounted". However this is likely a server issue and I have not posted about it yet.
  7. Ideas about food preservation.

I have two ideas for food storage. Forgive me if they've been mentioned/discussed already. The first is the clay pot fridge. It's made from a large clay pot with a small one inside it, and the gap between them is filled with wet sand and a damp cloth is draped over the top. All you need to do is keep the sand and cloth damp so evaporation can keep the contents cool. Maybe the larger pot requires a special, larger, metal age kiln to be fired. The other is an ice box/cellar.Ice could be chiseled out during the winter, or from colder areas such as mountain tops. The chiseled ice would have different properties than normal ice and last much longer. The cellar would need to have a layer of dirt or stone around it, maybe two thick minimum to pass the "cellar" check. food stored in the room full of ice would decay much slower.I'd like to add more but time is limited at the moment.
  8. Several server issues.

Hotfix #: 78.2waiting on our server to update.Suggested Name:Server issues/death loop.Suggested Category: Severe or AnnoyingDescription:It could just be our hotfix number, but I wanted to post some things here anyways. The biggest issue right now is death. When players die they respawn with an empty food bar. In single player I respawn with a full bar. This wouldnt be an issue normally, except for the server keeps going while every one is offline. When my town logged in, it was winter. The food in our inventories turned to dust in our hands and all our burried vessels were empty. Animal spawns are still very sparse and there isnt a single pheasant in the rolling plains near town. We die of starvation before we can catch and cook a single fish or squid. The death loop can only be ended by outside intervention. Either a helpful niegbor or a deer spawning OP.The main issue is the starvation loop. But I wanted to bring some possible decay issues on servers up as well. Living in the north during winter seems nearly impossible until a large herd of something can be kept for sluaghtering. The water is freezing over, making fishing tricky. Fear of logging in during the winter to a ruined snow covered field kept us from planting crops (does sub 0 temps and or snow still kill crops?) late summer, so theres nothing to harvest. I can get more info on what the server is running later.Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: link of the Crash Report: no crash report.

Can't find an announcement for the winner.
  12. Post your TFcraft Pictures

When I first started exploring that cave I left that there as a mid way marker so I'd know I was on my way back. I also used supports as resource efficient bridges in there.
  13. Post your TFcraft Pictures

Luck. This was a great world, but I'd kill for some nickel so I can make some red/blue steel buckets. I'd trade all the bronze in my world for some garnierite...
  14. Post your TFcraft Pictures

Gold is rare... Right? About 30 blocks to the left is another large gold deposit. And another... and another... I have no idea what to do with all this silver and lead. It goes deep into the cave wall. There's a massive coal deposit to the right of it. But I hear that's normal. This copper vein runs far into the cave. One end has tin inclusions and the other has redstone. There's yet another large silver vein behind me in the first screen.
