      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. I think I saw somewhere one of the mods said it was too easy of a building block or something. I could be wrong though. Anyway, this could also have the advantage of slightly easier charcoal early-game.
  2. Nobody said anything about total reality. This person was suggesting a way to use sticks, because it's easy to get so many sticks you don't know what to do with. It seems like people on this forum have a knee-jerk reaction to anything that mentions real life. Something like:Person who has an idea:"I had a great idea to make Minecraft harder! It's a hunger system, and you have to eat food or you starve. " people on this forum: "I don't know about this idea but if you want total reality by adding real life stuff then go outside.(this mod and this game were not desinged to be 100% real) " Just because something is in real life doesn't mean it's a bad idea.
  3. Grey squares with no name

So I have noticed that when a creeper blows up, certain blocks will drop grey squares with no name. This I think is because the creeper has a 30% chance to drop the blocks it destroys and a 70% chance to destroy them (I think it was something like that), and when the block gets dropped, the game drops a stalactite/stalagmite block or wild plant block instead of the item, or just nothing. I'm sure some of you have noticed this happening, and I think an easy fix would be to make creepers destroy all blocks instead of dropping some (at least until they get fixed). If you know of any other blocks that do this (drop a grey square with no name) then post here about them.
  4. I like the idea, having 11 or so stacks of sticks before copper (I'm slow, I know) on my last world (lost too much stuff, started over). There definitely needs to be some way to use sticks, or a way to get more saplings and less sticks (some tree-shaving tool). Instead of the leaves just breaking when you cut down the tree, I think it would be cool if the leaves became affected by gravity. So if you didn't touch the leaves, they would just be this big pile where the tree was. And if you wanted to plant something there, you would need to clear out the branches (leaves).
  5. Bug With Sluices

I think I got something similar with ceramic molds. I don't know how I did it, I just noticed that they weren't stacking and were just disappearing into a single one. Also, sort of on topic, but do sluices use up the ore in the ground? Or do they make ore nuggets based off of the ore without using it up? I don't really get it and the wiki doesn't help
  6. Bug: I cut down a willow and when I finished there was a floating wood block with leaves. This was supposedly fixed in B74. Notes: Here are pictures of the wood block (It's still in my map) and leaves. My zinc axe is nearly broken, but that doesn't matter because trees break from the top, and the axe didn't break from cutting the tree down. I put my inventory and time of year in there because "why not?" . Also, yes I am in B75 and not B73 (although my world was made in B73 if that means anything) This isn't a major bug (I can just stack rocks or peat up to get it), but I thought it should be pointed out since it was "fixed" in the change log. If it's just my world being made in B73, I can live with it, but it still should be noted.
  7. Config problem fix?

Please correct me on any mistakes in my post. Ok, so apparently you have to delete the config files every time you update, or else crafting recipes and drops get messed up. I was wondering, why can't the mod make a new config for each update? For example, for the current build (B75) the configs could end with "B75.cfg" and only use that config file. Then, when the next update comes around, a new config could be made ending with "B76.cfg" and would only use that config file. These could be stored in a TFC folder in the config folder (or maybe not, I don't know if that would work) so it wouldn't get too cluttered up. I don't have much of a problem with just deleting them every update, but it seems like this would fix the problems some people have.
  8. Does it look like this? I got this after placing birch logs for my (oh so nooby) roof. This is in B73, but it isn't fixed in the changelog of B74 so I figure it's still there. When I break them with the axe I get the birch log back, but the block stays. If I place a log next to it the new log becomes the same weird thing. Is this the same thing? Edit: Oh my god I'm an idiot. These are log piles aren't they? Sorry, I just started TFCraft...
