      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    You left a microscopic bit of behind every time you used it. Then you ground offgreat big microscopic bits when you sharpened it after it had become little more than skinny hammer. It didn't break - it got so worn down that it couldn't be repaired. Maybe you could melt the "broken tool head" down in a crucible for 10 units but that would require code and an item number and an item graphic for each type of tool metal, which just isn't worth it. (Vanilla MC addresses this in an abstract way with the repairing of tools.)

  6. Sadly, further blockupdates will remove the forge. I only noticed the issue when I placed (or removed) a crucible on an existing forge that had a detailed block on one side. (Specifically, shale brick that was detailed before the forge was made. It is in fact detailed in a vanilla stair shape.) I should have mentioned that before, sorry.
