So in the current build, what are the best tool metals ? i'm thinking the High tier Steels, but i'd like some clarification on this.

http://www.minecraft...ckenbones-mods/ last time i looked it said 1.4.6 , and yes it does have a cheat mode, just switch it to recipe mode, if u cant resist then i suggest you don't use NEI as your ingame recipe helper thing. Mini-map doesn't work quite right, im guessing its because sea level is way higher than than vanilla, my terrain seems to render ok most of the time, sea is non-existent. I'm not sure what to suggest to fix your issue.

I've never used craftguide so have no experience with that, however NEI (not enough items, it has a recipe mode) works just fine with this mod, i personally use MultiMC (to manage multiple instances and configurations of minecraft) and have an instance with NEI and Rei's minimap both working side by side no problem.

YouTube is where i discovered TFC, Since then I've been searching for all the TFC related videos i can, viewing, liking and subbing (where i think they deserve it) and sharing with friends. Another gaming community that i belong to are now considering converting one of our minecraft servers over to TFC due to me pestering them to do so. Keep inputting the energy and it will pay off, the worst thing to do is give up. Maybe some new forum competitons/games, can keep the circulation going while update is waited upon. First thing i did when i found this mod was donate, not loads but something to say thank you, for those that can afford too and haven't yet, maybe a thank you would go some way to encouraging progress with further development.

Speaking as a new user, i don't feel crushed by you vets in any way (yet). A couple of things to point out, not in any judgmental way just observations . Forums always need new blood to keep the life flowing, Attracting and keeping users is far easier said than done. This mod has limited appeal, due to its slower (imo better) game pace, and other factors such as its still WIP. I've found the wiki quite informative, but as always things can be improved and the wiki could do with some love in certain areas. While most questions get answered on the forums, is this information available on the wiki. And likewise when the same questions get asked on the forums for the zillionth time, are they dealt with nicely (from what ive seen so far, yes). So here goes, i built my first charcoal pit , 1st layer 20 log piles, 2nd layer 9 log piles, 16 logs per pile, 464 logs total. Charcoal yield 150. Log/Charcoal ratio 3:1. Is this normal ? was it inefficient to fill all logs piles to max 16 logs ? please don't throw me in a macerator / reactor / cauldron / an age without linking book / down into the magma sea.
