      Server Move   09/13/18

      I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup.   1. Legit gathering of missing resources

    I rarely get problems with garnierite since I usually dont settle down till Ifind Gabro. I dont necesarly settle there but I know where it is. Sure, not every time it is possible this way since I have to get supplies for winter. If this happens I settle down and progress to steel age as normal. After that I find a donkey and make mobile base out of him. I pack a lot of supplies onto him and me (e.g. 4 stacks of planks, stack of coal, everything needed for a basic forge, saplings as emergency wood .....), but not everything can fit into barrels, vessels and onto my donkey so the large stuff is in my inventory (e.g. stack of steel ingots, cruicible. bellows......). The main problem that remains is food decay. I go around it by taking slow decaying food which is pickled, salted and smoked. When I run out I gather wild crops on the way if its summer, in winter I hunt for meat. This way I explore everything accesible by land. If I still dont find Gabro (never happend to me) Im thinking I would put my donkey on a leash and pull it behind my boat.

    Also just started with pams and it doesnt work. When seed is planted it wont grow and when broken it gives just one fruit (or whatever it is) which upon pickup desapears from inventory.     I have just installed the new prerelaese and found these bugs: When finished pottery is broken instead of right clicked it doesnt give you anything. Drinking out of jug doesnt fill up thirst bar. When gamerule doMobSpawning is set to false TFC2 mobs still spawn when generated in new chunks. (Also I know that mobs arent finished, but why the heck does fox kill you in one hit?)     When you stand somwhere chunks around you get loaded (for example 16 in radius but not of circle but square) and outer 2 "rings" are always lazy loaded which means entities arent procesed in them, only blocks. And when sand falls it doesnt create falling sand entitie but teleports the block to the lowest position possible but it doesnt remember metadata.

    That andesite sand is vanilla glitch of falling entities changing metadata to default like red sand to classic sand in lazy loaded chunks

    No, I dont know what entities it was because I only saw their amount on F3 screen but they werent on surface so it is probably hostile mobs or TFC2 mobs.

    Ok, this is maybe wierd but I have addiction to finding bugs so here is another few. Found a portal and got to a subtropical island. Then it started lagging like crazy and I was wondering why so I opened F3 screen and found out that there were 2000 entities. It looks like there isnt mob cap or it bugged out. Whilein creative mode when you open survival inventory the off hand slot texture is on hotbar but slot still in place. When exiting it goes back but upon entering it is again on hotbar. And a small one. When item is dropped inventory doesnt update and ghost item remains. This also applies to giving items with cheats or JEI (with NEItoo). Sorry if I made gramatical mistakes English isnt my native languge.

    Found a few bugs: When i go throughthe portal on beach of the starting island I end up in the "path dimension" and go out with the second portal I get to a desert island with portal back but some times it teleports me into the middle of an ocean with no portla back.(coldnt put here image becasu its to big) I can not lookup crafting recipes in JEI (In normal crafting grindlike firestarter). Dont know if its a bug with JEI or TFC2. Also I love the firepit texture and that you need rocks to make it but I cant find anything cookable in it. Keep up the good work and I am very excited for another update
