      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. This sounds like a good idea, instead of a tool "breaking" it just gets rendered into an unusable state, where it just takes up space until it gets repaired. Repairing could be something like putting the broken tool into the plans spot in an anvil, and using an ingot of that tool's type heated almost to melting, then shaped like anything else on the anvil, using up both the broken item and the ingot in the process.
  2. Looking good! Can't wait for the finished product.
  3. New inventory

That would be nice, although the materials the equipment should be made of alloys, not a pure ore. Ever owned a pure gold necklace? They are very fragile. And a pure iron bracelet would be pretty heavy on your wrist.
  4. Scythes

Well, seems like I sparked up a decent debate. I'd like to point out that the scythe used in TFC has a very high chance of just being a kama, due to how Steve holds tools, and item sprite size limitations.
  5. Scythes

I know they are added as of the unreleased b2 pre 21 update, but I would like to request that they can be viable as a weapon as well as a harvesting tool. This is for two reasons: 1. They have a blade, and said blade must be sharp for a scythe to be useful. Therefore, it should be useable to cut things that are a bit more fleshy. 2. I love scythes, and nothing you could have added wwould ever have the ability to make me more interested in playing this mod. And they make the coolest weapons ever.
  6. Can't make armor plans?

Go update your TFC version, it is definitely ever so slightly outdated.
  7. In it's current form it has an optifine version as well as a non-optifine version. It does not affect optifine at all, although that may have something to do with the fact that it is in patcher format, so it stays up to date with the current optifine version without needing to be updated.
  8. ^Which is a great reason for it to be added as part of this mod, to control and limit the amount of exploitation and maybe make the lighting a server-sided event instead of client-sided.
  9. Ooooh pretty *claps* Looking forward to more updates!
  10. I think the larger bricks look nicer, and are more traditional for minecraft. Other than that, great work, and I am looking forward to seeing how you do on all those trees. 256x ftw! EDIT: Also, looking at the right side brick pattern, your center brick is extremely long, and the rest of them are only maybe half that size. Might end up looking a bit funny when tiled in a world.
  11. TF Wiki

I found a description of how to make it from a random post (can't even remember where) saying how to line up the items to get it.
  12. Traps

Dart recipe could be something like flint tool (or other edged tool), stick, and string. The tool for sharpening one end of the stick (use 1 durability per dart made... maybe more than 1 dart per material?), string to wrap around the base to ensure a snug fit in the blowgun/dispenser.
  13. Butchery

Don't forget the hide/feathers for an extra slot.
  14. TF Wiki

I like that idea. Having a wiki that actually gives the information the user is looking for would be nice for sure. It took me 20 minutes just to find the crafting recipe for the flint spear the other day...
  15. If this hasn't already been suggested/ done already, why not ask AtomicStryker if you can incorporate the dynamiclights and multi mine mods into TFC? Both of them do add to the realism of minecraft, without adding anything that veer from TFC's theme. I know that we can simply install them ourselves, but not everyone knows about them... plus I hate mcpatcher mods because my launcher mod doesn't support patchers, and it's ever so slightly aggravating to install all my mods, patch the game, find out what files get patched, and then pull them out and repack them myself just to use them (Though that isn't TFC's problem)
