      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [Solved] Crash Upon World Generation [Large Biome]

Ah, I see ok then. It used to work before [or at least seemed like it was] so I always figured it was meant to be a TFC equivalent option. Thank you.
  2. Hello, I am experiencing a crash when I try to generate large biome world types. This problem has been happening to me for a couple versions now. I am using the vanilla launcher with the recommended forge version. It occurs even if I remove my other mods and just use TFC and Forge. It also continues to occur even after a fresh install. Increasing ram usage in my minecraft profile in the vanilla launcher has no effect [i have 32 gigs of DDR3 RAM]. I have updated my video card driver and x64 Java. The mods I am using at the moment: Damage Indicators 3.2.0 FastCraft 1.9 Journey Map 4.0.5 Optifine 1.7.10 HD U A4 Forge TFC 79.8 As I said earlier, even if I just strip it down to TFC and Forge, on a fresh install, the game will still crash after attempting to generate large biome worlds. Its been happening since build 79 first rolled out. ---- Minecraft Crash Report ----// Ooh. 3. Means of obtaining Flint

Just a small suggestion here. I think flint should no longer be an occassional drop from mining gravel. Instead, I think it should only be obtained through use of the gold pan. To me that would make more sense as you're sifting through the gravel to begin with to search for traces of ores.
  4. More early game uses for straw

Hello. I have an idea for straw beds. What if they could still work like regular beds except that when you wake up in the morning, you have either high probability or a 100% chance of having a drowsiness affect applied to the player character. It would automatically go away after 5 minutes or so. It would still let you skip the night and set spawn, but delays you starting out the next day.
  5. New Launcher

Hello Alpha. Make sure your minecraft jar in the TFC directory is still 1.5.1. Also, install vanilla minecraft in the default location, I'm not certain but I maybe the TFC launcher checks those files to see if you own minecraft? I had issues myself yesterday after getting the new launcher, and it appears that after I redownloaded vanilla minecraft to "appdata", the launcher worked for me. I also uninstalled an old version of x64 bit java runtime and updated to the latest release as well. Edit: Nevermind, I just renamed any folders related to minecraft in appdata, and it still works. Strange it seemed like reinstalling vanilla minecraft fixed the problem, but it looks like that was just coincidence. It was probably something else. I had the same problem as you yesterday, but I tried so many different things trying to get it to work, now I'm not sure what exactly fixed it, lol.
