      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [Solved] Alcohol Crafting Mismatch

I am absolutely sure that my personal server is not running cauldron. Screenshot incoming. Wait. I threw in more than needed (or perhaps it's how much I actually needed rather than what I read on the wiki) and it created the Corn Whiskey. I then split the cornmeal and tossed it in.http://puu.sh/hO1k5/c893e721a6.png It appears that the wrong thing is coming from the 'recipe' coming from putting too little solid in.
  2. [Solved] Alcohol Crafting Mismatch

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No): Yes Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. TFC Version #:0.79.18Forge Version #:10.13.2.1291Please note that an actual number must be provided for both of the above fields.Simply saying "current" or "latest" will result in your post being locked, due to the fact that in a large number of cases, users who say they are using the "latest" or "current" version are actually using an outdated version.SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer):SMPDescription:When attempting to make alcohol in a barrel (10b of water and 40g of cornmeal) the barrel, when sealed, lists its result as "Prepared Medium Hide". Upon completion, it uses some amount ~3600mb of water, as if it had finished preparing a medium hide. Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No):YesIf you answered no to the above question, delete all 3 TFC config files (TFCCrafting, TFCOptions, TFCOre), do NOT edit or add to any of the files, and try to reproduce the bug. This question is here because many bugs are caused by mistakes in config files. All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question.Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No):If yes, which mods?If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No):-If you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug. Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it.All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored.Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report: -
  3. How do you feel about new charcoal mechanic?

Charcoal block. Make its tool the shovel and have the algorithm that snoops around the pile, rather than produce charcoal pieces, exchange the log blocks for those. There could be a metadata value to indicate how much they break into or how much you receive from each block when crafting it to produce charcoal (it would probably work out to not give a single unit of charcoal for single-log or so log piles). This way, charcoal piles couldn't technically kill people (Oh, there's nothing for 13 blocks below this unsupported dirt bl-fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu), since there would be blocks supporting the shell, just like with the original log piles. Heck, the charcoal blocks could operate akin to the log piles, just a different texture and a different substrate.
  4. Barren Worlds?

We're using the current (pre28) version, Lancezh, and there's animals akin to vanilla minecraft spawning. A certain lovable idiot decided to install a SMP version of Mo'Creatures (Something not supported by the developer of said mod) which did evil, evil things to loaded chunks and basically prevented vanilla passive mobs from spawning.
  5. Barren Worlds?

Apparently the previous mod made the world file evil and we've got mob spawns with a new world file.
  6. Barren Worlds?

Meant to imply with that last sentence "what's other people's feelings on mob spawns In SMP" Derp brain.
  7. Barren Worlds?

Still feels relatively barren, but there's actual animals spawning about 600m from people's living areas and to a much lesser extent than seen in SSP. What are other people's feelings on passive mob spawns?
  8. Barren Worlds?

Going to check with a new server JAR file. There was a mod installed that we kinda-uninstalled-but-not-really that might have maybe possibly created some creature spawning issues.
  9. Barren Worlds?

Where are passive mobs? Cows, sheep, chicken? Squid spawn, but only occasionally. Mobs spawn once in a blue moon (you have to walk many kilometers to even get a chance. We're running TFcraft on our server and there's nothing in terms of creature spawns aside from creepers, spiders, zombies, and skeleton archers. Which makes it nigh impossible to get bellows. Is it supposed to be this barren or is this just something with TFcraft making custom biomes which aren't configured to spawn passive mobs?
