      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Username: thompsonjet2010 Age: 2967 Location: lake huron Why do you like to play TFC? too much simplicity in vanilla minecraft Why do you want to join? i'm lonely and "minecraft comes alive" villagers are idiots What will you add to the server? whiskey soaked drunken philosophy, wisdom.
  2. What other mods do you use with TFC?

i've been using the destruction catalyst mod for the last few days, only because i like making tunnels for rails.... it seems that someone coded this item separate from it's original source, equivalent exchange 2..... but there are bugs(kinda) when using it... - some of the rock that gets mined in "harvest" mode is different from what exists in the world (i.e., conglomerate rock coming from chalk, etc) - no gems ever get seems that there is some random chance that gets ignored when using this item. - bituminous coal and lignite get harvested as bituminous coal and lignite, not as coal when mined with a TFC pickaxe try at your own risk..... i can turn raw coal into usable coal using minor alchemy, i'll post the .cvl list soon on that site.
  3. All about stone layers and Ore searching

i've always found the starter metals about y=128, then the better ones at y=65 and lower. coal and lapis and cinnabar are y=65. i've got (and harvested) TONS of lapis too... what am i to do with this? make a blue man kingdom? i've gotten garnierite too... y=65 in gabbro
  4. 77.8 Silver issue

you are lucky, i haven't even found silver yet, supposed to be in either granite or gneiss, right? what's the Y= value? silver ingot is ID 16300, as i have been plugging in values for minor alchemy mod. i had to input that value in the list though. later tonight i will try to melt the ingots and make alloys...until then i don't know if the process can be continued that way.
  5. where's the kaolintie?

no sooner than i posted this i found kaolinite... y=60 in chert. i got about 30 pieces from a vein. i found graphite, but can't remember where and in what, next time i see it, i will inform. speed mining btw, using illegal enhanced tools...
  6. where's the kaolintie?

i can't seem to find kaolinite.... i am in the supposed rock layers, but about what height?
  7. WTF welcoming party

    welcome back!
  8. Zombie Issues...

also, i use portalguns. i deserve to be put in a pit kiln too.
  9. Zombie Issues...

zombies... why so many? and baby zombies? isn't there some group out there that's complaining about that yet? instead of whining about it and knowing that doing so is useless, i just added more mods: balanced leather mod - so that when killing all these zombies baby zombies and wasting useless zombie flesh, you can turn then into vanilla leather with a furnace i have spawned from INVedit, so that when i eventually get not slaughtered by fire spear wielding skeletons and make some sort of pick and stumble across coal someday i can also put into the furnace to make backpacks, collecting enough useless items that aren't really used much in the TFC mod. therefore.... using the minor alchemy mod and calculating CV values for tfc items so i can't get yelled at by family and friends for wasting time for playing minecraft and being late for work, lack of sleep, etc etc. p.s. the flying ring that also is on the same page as minor alchemy (and you have to spawn it in using INVedit) can make all these hard to kill zombies, baby zombies and impossible to kill skeletons immune to you. P.p.s. you can also use INVedit to make a knife with a 127 lvl unbreaking enchantment and a 999 lvl sharpness enchantment. yes, i cheat. it's cheating. but until these impossible "100 zombie vs you" issues are fixed, i can at least enjoy TFC's new features without rage quitting. TFC is a great mod, and i do love it.
  10. Finding coal, ore depth general

it seems that with build 76, most of the better ores and coal lie just below the depth of 60. just dig down to there and make a small sideways tunnel (2 high and 1 wide) in any direction and use your prospector's pick to find ores. don't forget to reference the wiki to what spawns where.
