      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Also, I'm sorry I cannot upload the Mod pack. My internet is via a cellphone atm. So, I'm trying to find away to get some assistance, to get it uploaded.

I like the idea mostly, although you'd have to probably add more incentive for such the effort of making things, most people would spend an extra day working on a batch of meals that would grant a grand total of 5 minutes of speed, that would quite counterproductive (Someone could have gotten to their destination surviving off a single cow's worth of steak in the time it took to make the food). With this in mind, try to think of something much better to get out of this extra work, perhaps you could add to the many suggestions we've almost all seen about a possible nutrient system, maybe your suggestion's food could add a significant boost in nutrients, and in turn make you live much longer off of a little bit of food. Another thing to mention, a couple of those things could be seen as borderline modern, even if they are really actually ancient. It could be viewed as quite suspicious if someone walked up to another individual with a bowl of delicious noodles with tomato puree and herbs, and they both happened to be a cavemen.

    But the ideas are great but first they need to add some kind of butchery and smoking into the game as well

  3. I'd go for a thaumcraft (or whichever is your fav) compatibility mod rather than try to make one from scratch.  There's some great stuff already out there to work from.

     

    Yeah im not trying to get into to much magic i want the game to still make you earn things so if i do add magic it would be very limited and you have to work hard for it.

    Got no clue then, I'm playing on Normal and it takes "Rotten Flesh" but it will not take Raw Meats.

  5. Nice Modpack Healshot, sadly I don't think they all can ever be compatiible with TFC, and unlit torches seem tedious to me (my map's big city works mostly on torches)

     

    All the mods in the Pack are all TFC Compatible, as for unlit torches mod the life span of the Torches and Lanterns are configurable.

    Weapon System / Dual Wielding

    Mine and Blade 2 introduces a new weapon system to minecraft. This system will allow the player to have up to 3 weapons sets available to them that can be switched to using the 'R' key. The system allows the player to specify a mainhand and an offhand weapon (so allows select dual wielding).

    By default any weapon can be placed into the weapon system and any weapon without a special right click function can be dual wielded. The mod will also scan though items for weapons added by mods. For further mod support there is an API (check the github repository) Posted Image

    Shields

    Mine and Blade 2 introduces a shielding mechanic different to the normal sword block. Blocking with a shield will reduce all blockable damage taken from the front 120 degree arc. However a player cannot block indefinably as there is a stamina bar that appears above the normal minecraft health/armour icons.
