ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

It's ideas like these that make me really wish TFC had a larger modding community. We need end game content. ______________________________________________________________ I'd like a challenge, though, to fight against in my black steel armor. Extremely content-heavy. And though sleeping with a certain item is always a good way to segway into a nightmare world, there's already so much to progress through to be making even better items.

Today, I learned about magnets. What I want to see now is a "map and quill item" with a gui containing 2 slots, one for a compass and one for ink. The compass would add the marker!

research? add a research system as a tutorial. you should need a certain number of bookcases to learn how to progress the game. BAM solved the issue of learning how to play. or hell, add it to the system suggested in the thread.

not liking the body temp idea, seems too complex. I would like that if you were in an environment too cold, or too hot, you would get hungry quicker.

Oh, I dislike gadget-like mods like rei's, I play hardcore xD Any time you get lost, you can find your way back if you dont give up. I've searched for the better part of an hour once before.

I never have seen a point in adding complexly-aqcuired flavoring to food in minecraft... you never really taste much except the sweet taste of recovering all your hp.

I've yet to be able to craft a map, as I haven't found both cinnibar and iron, and I find it extremely annoying to get lost. This is especially frustrating due to the simplicity of real-life maps. I believe an easier recipie using paper, ink, and a feather would be awesome. If you want to get interesting later, maybe make a "quill and map" item that has a slot for ink that is used as you explore, eh? Just throwin the idea out there.

I think it'd be a pretty simple addition, just adding a button to the forge to activate nearby bellows Might get interesting with multiple bellows, super hot stuff. Nothing you can't do on smp, right?

http://www.minecraft...ow-open-source/ I like the idea too. Will be quite hard maintaining a steady playerbase with resets that often. If you don't care about your players, or what they want, then you might have a difficult time running a successful server. Although, it wouldn't be worth it while TFC is still in beta. Once releases slow down a permanent town would be in your best interest as a server owner. -
