      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Yeah... Google still remembers the forums as one of my frequent sites, and I check a few times a week, but when I see that it's been months since the main threads have been active I really lose hope. I remeber when that one guy claimed he could port TFC1 to 1.12 and everyoine got all hyped up. That was the most active I'd seen the forum in a long time, only to be for nothing... I think that was the straw that broke the camels back for a lot of people. Why come back if there's nothing to come back for?

    1. TemporalAnomaly 2. For the sake of personal privacy and paranoia, let's go with J. Smith 3. Yes, TheTemporalAnomaly 4. I have been playing TFC since 1.3 I believe, so about 3 years. Fluent in recipes, smithing, pottery, etc. 5. I have not played this pack specifically, but i have played TerraFirmaTech and TechnoFirmaCraft for about 20 hours each. (I was really looking forward to TechnoFirma, what with the GregTech integration and all, but sadly after about 20 hours in the early game it wasn't possible to progress into metals.) I spend most of my time on the FTB forums looking for cool packs, and the TFC ones (although buggy) are always some of the best. It's always interesting to see how pack devs incorporate TFC while still making the other mods playable. 6. I like to think that I am a relatively mature and chill person, although i have been known to geek out occasionally. High school AP student, West Coast US, somewhat antisocial in the real life. TFC is one of my favorite hobbies, but others include Model Trains, chemistry, and Music. Overall, a relatively well-rounded individual. 7. I enjoy mining in TFC, trying not to get all of my precious ores crushed and whatnot. Also, I enjoy Mekanism automation, and building pretty bases using all of those cool chiseled blocks.

    I just miss the actual warfare part of the mod. I want the cannons and trebuchets back, then it would be perfect for tfc.
  12. 1. TemporalAnomaly 2. Washington, USA, Pacific time zone 3. I use both, but currently i lack a properly functioning microphone :/ 4. Since one rich ore provides 35 units of metal, and an ingot takes 100 units, it would take 15 pieces of ore, but the 25 leftover units would be a nuisance to deal with. 5. I have been playing TFC since v. 76 i believe, back when the launcher was still a thing. I know the majority of the recipes by memory, and love the chisel and assorted building blocks. 6. Sadly, my PC is not of the caliber with which to record good quality YouTube videos of modded stuff in a view-able state. 7. Terrafirmacraft is one of those things that one yearns to do, but looses interest in quickly when alone, as many tasks can be repetitive and boring. I hope that in a server the interaction and banter with other players (on "The Ursine Nation Life on the Frontier" server) will lessen the tedium of the game i love.

TFC makes minecraft interesting again, with the advanced survival, crafting, building, and environmental aspects. it's as though the game as been remade, "how it should have been". The variety of blocks gives many options for building, which is my favorite aspect. Why do you want to join? I've been trying to find a server with a good community where i can hang out and do things with others. Playing TFC is fun to a point, but alone the tedium and monotony sets in, and with itboredom. What will you add to the server? Building skills(not fantastic but not abysmal), Good sense of humor,Inelegance, maturity (from a 15 year old. So weird, right?), Team player, Etc. also, in a more personal manner,knowledgeof sci-fi, (star trek, star wars, marvel, etc.) ancient history nut, good moral structure, and 70 memorized digits of Pi.

Other servers that I've tried haven't been enjoyable because of griefing and stealing. I was hoping a white-listed community setting would be better than playing solo. What previous experience do you have with TerraFirmaCraft and Minecraft in general?: I've played Minecraft constantly scnce 1.2.3, and TFC actively since build 74. Fluent in recipes, knapping, and pottery. Any additional information that would help your case: Major Geek, Star wars/trek, BSG, all that fun stuff. AP student, Builder (not wonderfully amazing, but notabysmal,) actor, RPer, so on and so forth. Memorized Pi 70 digits, if that's worth anything.
