      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  2. TnFC Crashes when I open chat

TnFC is a custom modpack revolving around TFC. The problem is that some of those mods don't allow me to open chat without it crashing. Other people on the server are fine. Since TFC has errors now and then, maybe someone could help me, even if it's a custom pack. Here is the crash report:https://pastebin.com/WeiiVBQK I have no clue what is causing it, I've tried a few things but I can't make sense of it.
  3. Crashes when join world

https://pastebin.com/inY6RVDJ I'm trying to make some modpack, but when I join the world, then server crashes with "Exception getting block type in world". Can someone help me with this problem?

  8. There is a good custom (Bukkit + Forge + Spigot) server called Thermos. I tried to show this bug to the developers, but they answered that it is up to you to solve it. Just look at your code, please, maybe it's really a bug in it code and Thermos just transforms a 'silent warning' into error? So, when a player tries to connect, server just crashes. (Yes/No): Neither of them is installed Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report: http://pastebin.com/sVJQ8Wu8 Description: I'm running a local server on my PC. My friend and I play on this server together. We've already played a lot on it; nearly two ingame years have passed, and that is with a 120 day year, I might add. So there's certainly nothing wrong with the way the game or the mods are set up. Today, I went and crafted - for the first time - two Protection Meters. one of them, I set down right by our house. It worked flawlessly. Then I walked 4-5 chunks away, and set down the second one, in the area where we do our wood harvesting and large charcoal pits. The very moment the block hit the ground: kaboom! Both me and my friend instantly crashed with the same error message: "already tesselating". The server survived this just fine. Only our clients are crashing. What's worse, though: neither of us can log in anymore. The attempt results in the same crash right as the world loads in. So now we're stuck with a server that runs fine, but cannot be played on. I've searched a bit across the support forums, and read that this error is often related to Optifine. However, neither of us is using Optifine.

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer): Single Player Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No): Not using either of these If you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug. Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it. All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored. Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report: Description: I have played multiple hours on one world with Rei's Minimaps installed and it all worked no problem. I was able to log on and off multiple times that day (yesterday). Today, I opened the launcher normally, but when I opened the world, my whole minecraft crashed. There have been no updates that I know of. I am able to open other worlds and play on them without crashing. I really don't want hours of work to go to waste in that Terrafirmacraft world. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored. (Yes/No): I don't have any of thesePastebin.com link of the Crash Report: NA (not my server) Hello Guys, long time no see. I've got a server up with 2 friends so we're 3 altogether but I currently have no access as of the time of this writing so I can't give as much information now but I guess this is a more general problem. Our server crashes semi-randomly, especially when travelling large distances and coming back, in other words, the travel is ok, but when you turn back to get home it crashes, it doesn't even depend on how far you travel, we had crashes when we were like 1 km away. It happens pretty rare but it's a really annoying bug, basically one of us who has been on the voyage (everybody can experience this bug) bugs out and the server crashes. OK, we logged one after another in to check who has the corrupt files or whatever creates this bug, we guess it's a memory leak. The one guy that bugs out, when he logs back in, he spawns in a void-area and falls down all the time (a common thing in Minecraft actually). So we have a workaround which is quite a pain in the back: Reloading the entire player by killing his files and then giving back the inventory and xp and whatever. This can't be the proper solution so I'm asking for either better workarounds or a fix all around, maybe we overlooked something. Help greatly appreciated, Many loves and kisses.

This issue occurs while traveling over water at approximately x:22 z:-9314.Originally, the issue occurred on our server, when any player approaches said coordinate from any direction, resulting in the server crashing and all players being disconnected and "Timed Out". To attempt to isolate this problem I've attempted to reproduce the issue in SP with 100% success, unfortunately I'm unable to identify the cause. This very same issue occurred, a few versions ago, on our server in a different seed. After several crashes/relaunches due to this strange anomaly the world became corrupt and wouldn't load. Two more instances of this issue in random seeds while choosing a new world for the latest version of TFC. The only like circumstances that seem obvious to me are the presence of "Freshwater", "Saltwater" and "Fish".What's strange is that I've experienced all three of those criteria countless times in other seeds and not had the same issue. Mimtos' "Fish Crash" post seems relevant.http://www.reddit.com/r/TerraFirmaCraft/comments/2q5f6k/fish_crash/ I'd appreciate any help correcting this issue or insight into the cause. If this is a bug, perhaps it can be squashed by the next version! 25. Report from the most recent crash:http://pastebin.com/cE2H0bfa Hello all. I've been playing TFC for a while now. And I got excited about the new update. So I feel I should start by saying that's what I'm playing. And I like to add a few other mods in there to really add to the overall experience, usually simple ones that have always worked for me in the past, such as Smart Movement and Ancient Warfare. And for a while I had just those, and everything was working fine. Then my friend and I wanted to add a couple more mods into the mix, and while he was thinking up his usual over-the-top list, I went ahead and added Ars Magica 2 to my game, and configured the ore to spawn with the "TFCOres" config file. And I launched the game and went to my world, and everything was fine. Mods worked, no conflict. My friend was joining, so I made a new world to host a LAN game, and my game crashed. I thought it was nothing, so I relaunched it and tried to open the world again, and it crashed with the same reason. So I just had him join my world, we explored a bit and then it crashed once again, and now I can't seem to even load that world without a crash. I looked around but I couldn't find a solution to the problem, so I felt it best to come here and see if there was someone who could shine a bit of light on it all. I've played with Ars Magica added before, even getting the ore to spawn in the world without problem (besides a minor metadata problem causing veins of blue topaz blocks, but that was just user error). I double checked I had the right item ID's and metadata, and I just can't seem to figure it out. Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to try and help me figure this problem out, so I know what's causing it! -Flamebooker
