      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. bald Trees

At first all the trees were fine on my world. But then they started going bald. The leaves are still there because they still have bounding boxes and I can break them and get sticks, but they are invisible. I started a clean world with only terrafirma installed and a re-installed forge in a new .minecraft folder. same thing keeps happening, only now to worlds generate with this. it happens to any tree type.
  2. Make please that when player cut trees, he will receive saplings, because if you don't want uglifythe space around yourself(I mean the lack of trees), you must firstly cut leaves and then cut tree.
  3. Coconut palms

The coconut tree is one of the most important cultivated plants in the world. It produces harvest year round. It has spread throughout much of the Tropics and can be found on nearly every tiny island in this area. It is known in many cultures as the tree of life due to it's nearly limitless uses: -the outer husk of a ripe coconut, called coir, can be used to make stuffing for mattresses and clothes, and white coir from unripe ones can be spun into string or rope. The dry husk can be crafted with string to make simple sandals that reduce fall damage a tiny bit, and used as firelighter and fuel. -the shell itself is useful as a dish or a container for both food and beverage. An intact coconut shell could be used as a jug. The shells can be piled on each other to create low walls. -the fluid inside is watery in unripe nuts, and can be used to quench your thirst. The milkier substance in ripe nuts is more nutritious but when drunk in too large quantities acts as a diuretic and a laxative. Considering the understandably strict rules on such mechanics, it shouldn't be too disgusting for the player's hunger and/or thirst bar to decrease faster when a certain limit is reached. -coconut meat is high in fat. It helps survival drastically. -the large leaves can be used to make roofing, baskets and sails. Coconuts are found in two varieties: green unripe and brown ripe ones. For clarity, the green ones are found in the trees and the brown ones on the ground. When left alone, both the ripe and unripe nuts slowly regenerate.
  4. Better Forests/Biomes

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the suggestions forum?(Yes/No):Yes Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. I have a really complex idea for forests/biomes for the new edition of TFCraft. In actual forests, the amount of shrubbery and foliage on the ground often depends on the concentration of the trees and the temperature and rainfall of the area. Could there be new plants and bushes to fit in with forests following the same rules? I don't really know that much about Java, but is there a way to make certain plants or bushes grow in only certain light levels? There could be grass color changes in winter/fall, and have dead leaf textures that appear on the ground (similar to the minecart rails) that could be harvested and crafted with sticks or something to make some sort of block or slab to be used in early shelters. And there can be shorter grass or tiny plants that grow in denser forests, and for really dense forests, have the dead leaves all along the forest floor with tiny plants, and have small bushes and such. And there could be different types of grass/ferns to grow in different environments, with varying heights and sizes, that could maybe drop different types of thatch with certain characteristics. And for some trees, probably all but the taller ones, you could have trunks and branches the size the fruit trees and make the fruit tree trunks even smaller, and then when winter rolls around, the leaves could "fall off" and litter the floor, until spring when little leaf buds can fill the trees. I don't know how all the extra items would run on lower end computers, though. In advance, thanks for reading.
  5. [Solved] Leaf Bug?

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No):Yes Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. TFC Version #:79.26.881 Forge Version #:10.13.4.1481 Please note that an actual number must be provided for both of the above fields. Simply saying "current" or "latest" will result in your post being locked, due to the fact that in a large number of cases, users who say they are using the "latest" or "current" version are actually using an outdated version. SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer):Singleplayer (Haven't tried multiplayer) Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No):No, but I don't know where the config files are located If you answered no to the above question, delete all 3 TFC config files (TFCCrafting, TFCConfig, TFCOre), do NOT edit or add to any of the files, and try to reproduce the bug. This question is here because many bugs are caused by mistakes in config files. If you are unable to delete your edited config files, please provide a list of the config options you have changed. Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No):Yes If yes, which mods? NEI TFC NEI Plugin CodeChicken Core Fastcraft Rei's Minimap If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No):Not Installed If you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug. Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it. All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored. Description: All the leaves of all the trees, including the conifers, appear dead, and the grass appears dryer too. This happened on the first of early spring, after I had left the world and came back because of a pig glitching through the floor. It hasn't changed, even though the temperature has risen to 4.27 C, and it snowed and rained several times. Even the natural trees and fruit trees had been affected, and all that I've explored has also had the dead leaves. Is this a normal thing to happen in spring? In advance, thanks for the help. UPDATE: The trees turned green as soon as summer started.
  6. Version #:[1.7.10]TerraFirmaCraft-0.79.6.245 SSP/SMP (Single/MultiPlayer): SSP/SMP Suggested Name: Crops, Fruit Trees and Bushes don't spawn on southern hemisphere. I have been trying to find any crops on the souther hemisphere of seed:2361318630950344548 and not succeeded. There is a vast stretch of plains on +1105+162+3048. (Three thousand blocks in some directions, I would assume this to be enough for at least one crop to spawn.) I have teleported over in ~1K increments over 20km and flown 26km since I was testing only the 79.6 version! This issue alsooccurredin the 79.4 (I did not try any others)
  7. [Offline] Treeserve [Build 76] [MC 1.5.1][Re-Opened]

With the release of TFC Build 76 (kudos to Dunk), I have decided to relaunch my server. If you are interested in playing on a small server that is oriented around farming, mining, and small, rural communities, I would enjoy having you play on the server. The IP is treeserve.dyndns.org:25111. It will be open from 500 PM Eastern Standard Time to around 9 PM - on weekends it will be open all day. Best, platanus (treeman1111)
  8. [B66] Stone not falling bug.

Ok, in B66 if you place rocks right above a leaf block, it doesn't fall through it. I think that this is a bug because if you place the rock 1 or more blocks above the leaves, it pass through. Something like this can happen:
  9. Trees Info discovery

I thought it was due to inform everyone that there is some sort of requirements for growing the saplings, i say so because where i settled my home , a zone near the border between two biomes, in one only sequoias grow, in the other grow birches or aspens, there it is a screenshot sequoias saplings spawned in the birches/aspens biome as well as the sequoias one, but it's not the same for birches/aspens saplings, the fact that pushed me to open this topic is that when i found a willow wood about 1 km from my shack i decided to get some saplings and carry them to those two biomes near my home, but i've discovered that though those planted in the green terrain of the birches/aspens grew normally after some time, the ones planted in the zone dominated by the sequoias were never grown in some months in-game, they remained like this in the image some of those sequoias were planted by me in early august-september as well as the willow saplings in the screenshot, the sequoias grew about in half october-early november, but now is december and willows saplings are still like that i guess that the final explanation is that the saplings grow with some rules dictated by the type of terrain on which they are planted, if the terrain is wrong the sapling won't grow or will grow far more slowly, i hope this will help you in case you're having problems with your saplings to keep your forest lush like originally was
  10. Weird axe bug b60

I tried chopping down a pine with a nearly depleted stone axe. The axe was in the 2 hotbar slot. In the 1 slot there was a new stone axe with full durability. When I chopped down the pine, the axe broke and a bugged axe appeared in the 2 hotbar slot. This bug is similar to the one of the javelins, when you throw the last, the first is thrown.
