      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    When working with Andesite Rock, I've noticed that the toolheads don't always show up. This is a very minor bug since it doesn't happen too often but I figured I'd share it just in case.
  3. I've been playing terrafirmacraft for sometime. I learned about it around 6-8 months ago and played it for a while and then stopped like i do with all mods/games. One thing i always remember though is a glitch that occured on my single player world that made "fake" copper ore. The prospecters pick would give postive results for a very large amount of ore in a large area, when i was playing on this i tryed many times to find the ore, eventually i go fustruated and i went in creative mod and carded out a huge chunck of rock with smashing and tnt and found nothing. Later on i did start a new world with my friend and we found native copper. Now on my new world me and my friend started the same thing seems to be happening with native copper. Ive been mining for a really long time and it seems like i trangulated a large area but its extrememly large and unrealistic for it to be ore, im getting "very large" in a atleast 35x35 area. Ive been in creative went farther than that and at certain levels i get "very large" still. Can somebody help me here or is this just a bad glitch? i was hoping this would be fixed by now but i guess not. Yeah me grammmar not zo good
  4. When Placing any ceramic item on top of wooden planks placed at an intermediate block level (i.e. placed at Y: 100.5) causes the game to crash. I wasn't going to report this bug but it has also deleted the level.dat file as well. (I'm new at this and not down with proceedures, so go easy on me)
  5. Hi. I got such an annoying bug with pit kiln. I play minecraft 1.6.2, forge 9.10.1.871, tfc 0.77.15 Maybe I do something wrong. So I dig 2x1x1 hole (2 deep). I place 4 clay items with shift + right click then I throw straw (with Q) 15, 64 that doesnt matter how much (it lays on a ground just like throwed item) then I place log pile (16 logs in it) and it never burns with firestarter. Is there any thing to do with this?
  6. Okay, I have two issues. The first is a bug for infinite bismuth. All you have to do is make a forge and plunk down your crucible. If you throw in a copper anvil it melts down as expected but if you throw in a bismuth bronze anvil it doesn't fill the ratios. It just sits in the input slot. If you click off and onto the crucible you can see the word Bismuth for a split second before it disappears. All you have to do is keep putting empty ingot molds into the output slot and it will fill with bismuth. I got 26 ingots before I just broke the crucible to stop it from happening but you can continue to plunk the anvil in and pop it out and keep getting as much bismuth as you'd like. The second issue I'm having is the bloomery no longer functioning. I updated from 77.9 to 77.11 and now my bloomery won't work. I tried to rebuild it, 5 different times, but it won't work period. I don't know what's causing it. The charcoal pile will take the iron ore but the bloomery itself won't light.

    For some reason, when I try to pour liquid metal into a mould (as it says in the wiki) but i can't seem to get the saw blade. Can anyone help?

    I put 11 raw hide in a barrel and got back 11 soaked hide and the original 11 raw back.The barrel wasn't full to start with, and the water level is now 0 it's not even a water barrel anymore.

    As of build 77.11, there seems to be occasional issues with world gen which makes parts of the world to look like this: In this exact case I can't track which blocks got replaced. This is not the only place where that happened, there are others around there too,
  10. [77.10] Ingot Pile & Coal Render Bugs

    When you place an ingot pile, and then place a different metal ingot on top of it after that, the bottom ingot pile renders as the same type of metal as the upper ingot pile. Pictures for clarification, done with copper and bronze. At first, I have a copper ingot pile. After placing a bronze ingot pile on top, the copper ingot pile renders as bronze. Even after removing the upper bronze ingot pile, the copper ingot pile still renders as bronze. After removing the bottom ingot pile, you can see I have 2 copper ingots. Another thing is, if you try to place and ingot in a block occupied by a chiseled block, it actually makes an ingot pile, but doesn't render at all. However, when I try to place another ingot on it, the original one comes back to me. Now for the bituminous coal thing. This is basically an X-ray exploit. While completely surrounded by bituminous coal (i.e. mining through a vein), every 16 blocks or so (one chunk), all the bituminous coal blocks in front of yu go invisible and you can see through the world. But when any other block is placed it is fixed (such as a torch or other block). When you remove the block, it comes back again. A torch has been placed:
  11. Problem with booze

    For starters, i must say that i dont know if its a bug or a feature, but if its a feature its a really dumb one. So i was messing around with brewing, testing what effect diffents drinks have. When suddenly i died from alcool poisonning. I was expecting that would happen after drinking almost a whole barrel. What i wasnt expecting was that all my items just vanished -.-. I was doing my experiment right beside my bed, so my items didnt just drop and despawned before i made it back to my death point. Nope i was back at my death point almost instantly, my items just disapeared.
  12. The bloomery appears to no longer accept charcoal or ores. The attached GIF demonstrates what happens when I complete a Bloomery and attempt to use it. (Sorry for the poor quality, but since my size limit is 500kb and I can't upload videos, this is all I can do) Am I doing something wrong? Whether I construct this on my own in Survival or in Creative, I get the same result. Can anyone else replicate this issue, or is this an issue with my installation? I installed using the same Forge build and followed the instructions, so I am clueless as to what else may be causing it. I am running Java 7 64-bit.
  13. I've found a 2x2 tree in an ocean biome that is just hovering over the top water layer in a shallow area surrounded by deeper waters. It may have spawned on top of a floating dirt island that has since, before my visit, collapsed to under the water, but if not something is broken. I can upload a screenshot if needed. I've not found any regular trees like this. (If possible I'd say make dirt in a 3x3 area surrounding a tree, or 4x4 in case of a 2x2 tree, not affected by gravity due to the tree roots, this would fix this problem and also make perfect sense, analogous to dirt with grass on it not falling down instantly.)

    I've seen these two issues all throughout Build 76's various hotfixes, in SMP. I never found the necessary wheat to start animal breeding in any of my SSP worlds. I've seen them happen with all four breedable animals. My fellow players have seen the same as me. 1.) Sometimes, when a pregnant animal gives birth, it will not spawn 1 offspring, but rather 4-8 at once. It's kind of odd when you have a pen with three pigs, two of them pregnanet females, and you come home one day to discover that boom, you now have 15-20 pigs. However, this is not guaranteed to happen; I've also seen a good number of singular births. Now, one of these two cases is probably intended, but which is it? And, why is the other case happening? 2.) Baby animals are extremely glitchy, no matter whether it's one or a dozen. For the entire time they grow up (rightclicking them shows a negative number ticking towards 0, which denotes an adult), the animal will show as running in place, and rapidly flickering back and forth between its actual size and its future adult size. It looks really bad. When I came how to discover my pigsplosion mentioned above, I couldn't bear having the camera pointed at the pen. Now I know you're no longer fixing B76, but please take a look at this in your B77 branch.

    When there's more than one stack of item in your inventory and shift click them from the second stack into a forge rapidly, both stacks are decreasing.
  16. Anvil + charcoal-placing bug

    Heyo, made an account just to report this bug: Running build 76 hotfix 17, I right-clicked with charcoal on the block below a wrought iron anvil, placing the charcoal in the same block as the anvil. The charcoal replaced it, deleting the anvil (not dropped) but it did drop the ingots and hammer. Tested in creative and this behavior happens to all varieties of anvil. Be careful where you hold your charcoal, kids! I'm just glad I happened to back up my world very recently.

  19. Fruit Tree Sapling Bug/Feature?

    So I'm chopping off branches of a Banana tree, trying to get saplings. I then chop off the second-from-the-top section of the tree, and it immediately regrows that section along with four branches. Is this a bug? Or is simply a feature that isn't talked about? I've gotten 25+ saplings from this one tree...

  21. Chisel exploit

    So I almost feel bad reporting this, but here it is. While doing detail work with a chisel and it runs out, the chisel appears to gain all of its durability back, but when you actually use it or punch a block with it in hand the 'ghost' vanishes. Well if you have two chisels on your quick bar, and you get one of the chisels into this state, then switch to using the other chisel, the act of using a blueprint on a block will consume durability from the ghost chisel indefinitely. Each time the ghost chisel runs out, it simiply refills its durability. I dont know if the order of the chisels or the condition has anything to do with it, but the chisel I was using was to the left of the ghost chisel on the quick bar, and its condition was nearly depleted.
  22. Random Invisibility Bug

    http://pastebin.com/z3ZHrEYe I am Getting a bug that when I crate a world, it runs fine for about 30 seconds, and then every block goes invisible. All mobs are still seen, but all blocks are gone. Then, after another 30 seconds, the game crashes. When I go back into the world, the blocks are still invisible, and the game crashes promptly.   23. Space refuses block

    Apparently closing my laptop did not turn off TerraFirmaCraft as I had expected, and a creeper managed to take me down inside my hidey hole. While I rebuilding I encountered this bug - there is one block of empty space I cannot fill with anything. I've tried filling it with dirt, then switched to creative mode and tried stone, wood, etc. Nothing will fill this block. I've broken all the blocks around it and tried again. Only this one block space refuses to be filled. If I pile up dirt next to it dirt will fall into the hole but pop, just like if sand hit a torch in vanilla MC.

  25. So, first things first. With the launcher, there is not enough RAM allocated, resulting in an OutOfMemory error. I've been able to fix this by editing the start.bat. (I'm using TFC with NEI and CodeChickenCore) So I started a new world, no seed, cheats, TFC default generation. I broke some rocks on the ground, and set difficulty to easy. I saw a cow, so I opened my inventory to start knapping. I get a crash (Shutting Down Internal Server), and get a log, shown in this pastebin: http://paste.ubuntu.com/5596524/ Any help fixing it?
