      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Hello fellow TFCplayers, I've noticed a lack of any new, small, vanilla TFCservers on this forum, and I've been toying around with the idea of creating a new one. The only problem is, I've never maintained a server before or anything like that, and for now I'm just inquiring: How much does it cost to run a server? Is there going to be a lot of maintenance on my part? Also, how hard is a TFCserver to set up? Thanks in advance, and also let me know if you're interested!
  2. Hi everybody, i'm new to TFC forums. I have one question: does anybody played the TFC with Thaumcraft 4? I wanted to have them on my server but i found one bug - the baubles mod adds his own crafting slots, and unfortunately has craftingbug. This means that anybody can craft food which has no rows which shows decay and weight, re-craft it in TFC inventory and haveas much food as they want. How can i solve that issue?

    Looking to make some new friends and for a TFC 79.29 vanilla(ish) server with some addons. The server does not have to include these addons and it may also have different ones, but these are just my preferences Streams Decorations (maybe) Bibliocraft I'd also like it if the server had 30+ day months but that's just me. Also it's preferable if the server does not restrict swearing. I don't mind whether pvp is on or not, but I do prefer pvp on.

For people who don't have time to read and would rather listen (I made this for you): Whatup everyone, my name is Nieztro, and I'm a Youtuber from the days of old TFC (we're talking the beta days of 2012). I started making content about the mod in its most early stages, and through my content became goods friends with Dunk, even doing an SMP series with him. Then disaster struck! I suddenly had far less time on my hands, for a multitude of reasons I'd rather not go into, and my YouTube channel suffered for a long time. That being said, I'm attempting a glorious return to my favorite hobby, and the first thing I'm doing again is a TFC series I'm calling "New Beginnings". There's a lot of content out there, good and bad, and to be viewed at all is somewhat of a blessing. You can suggest a re-naming of a current location or naming an un-named location or region, so long as it'sappropriate and others agree upon the name. Towns or other landmarks are marked with an orange dot, if you want to get your town on the map just let me know where you want it and what you suggest it be called. Town names are not up to debate, and are chosen by town owners. If you happen to live by one of these named locations, or you want to name the location you are in, you have more authority on the matter and ultimately it's up to you and the others that live around there. I will try and update the map with the new names weekly if I can, this is about the fullest size the map will be.Make sure you read other peoples post as something you want to change may have already been suggested.   10. Recently got into TFC, joined a community server and just didn't care for the reliability of the server, or some of the people on there. I've hosted MineCraft and GMod servers before, but I am fairly new to using Forge. The server is just plain old TFC right now, but I'm hoping to get some more plugins on there. TFC is VERY RAM hoggish, therefore the player slots on the server are limited to about 8. If you want toDONATE for more RAM - CLICK DONATE!     Here's just something I made for fun since I didn't really like the current monotone red,green and blue bars for health,hunger and thirst. I also changed the chisel mode icons and hoe mode icons but you could just port the health bars over if you prefer the standard Terrafirmacraft icons for the chisel and the hoe and vice versa for the health bars.     HI some of you may remember me from my better forest topic, well i have been playing TFC since april, and i loved every moment of it, i just think this is way better than vanilla, the only time i use vanilla is to build stuff on creative, and the trees.... Yeah! the trees, i think vanilla trees look way better than TFC trees(but whit less variety of course), and no it doesnt mean i hate TFC and it should be deleted from every single hard drive in this world, it just that their look could greatly improve. Heres a better example of what i mean: Here are some pics of my TFC world (autumn) Now look at my vanilla creative world Look at how vanilla leaves have lighting and have dept too, they look good, and in TFC they appear without lighting and without dept, i dont know if this is caused by the fact that you can walk trough them, but i really think that TFC should improve that because it can look very bad when you have a massive forest. Thats one of the very few things i dont like about TFC. PS: i think that autumn colors should be changed to a more sutile ones(dont know if its my TP) because in autumn no tree looks just plain duck yellow.

  14. Hi, I don't know if it was mentioned before or if there is an active topic about this, I didn't find any. I see that we have the option to enable the vanilla recipes for the furnace, iron, gold and diamond but I don't know how this config works. I haven't tested them yet in case I break something. I also have the lamp post mod, Railcraft, armor stand and the Jammy's Furniture mod that uses iron ingots for some things as well as stone and cobblestone. Does anyone know how this options work?
