      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  3. TFC Build 79

    Hello, everyone. It's been a darn good while since I have started a topic in the discussion forum - heck, it's been forever since I've participated in a major discussion. But, nostalgia is not the point right now. The main idea of this topic is speculation about Build 79. Now, I have started a similar topic concerning the construction update many months back, and a lot has changed, since then. I wonder; what do you think might be in the next major update? It has been a while since I've played TFC, aside from my return, but ever sincethe recent incursions into the modification, I've had a Renaissance exploding in my mind. New features, tweaks, many bug fixes (especially that pesky sequoia bug; nasty thing), and whatnot. I think that in the next update, we might have some sort of ecosystem overhaul. Let's face it; right now, the basic cow, pig, sheep,and chicken remain relativelythe same throughout the entire game world. Bears and deer don't really do anything, apart from the deer being another source of food and running away when one disturbs them, pheasants are just there as an alternative source of feathers (they are nice, though), and I doubt the fish are effective as a food source. I'm completely unsure if the developers still need more time to add in more features before they could focus on the ecosystems and nature, but I think that if they did this, a lot of the agrarian and natural aspects of the mod could be overhauled quite significantly. Crop rotation might serve an evenmore important role (take this with a grain of salt; I'm unsure if crop rotation is necessary in TFC's current state), animals would now need to be cared for, the player would have to build secure defenses to defend himself/herself from the dangers of predators, and so on and so forth. That's all I have to say, for now. What do you think the developers might put in the next update?
  4. TFC Build 79/NEI Crash

    So I recently downloaded the latest build for TFC and took bioxx's advice and installed Fastcraft, and I attempted to install NEI/ the TFC plugin. Chickencore, Fastcraft, and TFC itself works, but Minecraft crashes whenever I launch it with NEI. Eventually, I don't know how, I managed to get Minecraft to open without crashing, but whenever I try to open a world, it crashes. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, tried different versions, and nothing happened.     Version #: Build 79.2SSP/SMP (Single/MultiPlayer): SSP (Single)Suggested Name: No Stone Unturned bugSuggested Category: Minor/AnnoyanceDescription:While playing in survival (no cheats), achieved inventory, rock, tool. I was panning and had gotten platinum and copper nuggets. Then created a copper saw and copper pickaxe, yet no achievement popped when expected. I reviewed the list and i had missed the 'No stone unturned' achievement. How? I have 25 copper in my inventory. Went and collected more, same with no register. Similar to vanilla 'Diamonds to you', I dropped one and picked it up, registered. Reproduced after clearing config and starting new world. Does not affect gameplay unless player wishes to follow achievements as a guide, otherwise minor/annoyance.Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: YesDo you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: NoIf you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them?   6. Need help! Just installed the new build, everything were fine in a test world. It is awezome btw! But when i loaded in my old world this happend: All my water got removed, sugarcane turned into old lapisore blocks-... Signs turned to gravel and all my vesselsdisappeared...Used forge fix?     Hellow everyone! Yesterday i star work on porting the John Smith Legacy resourcepack for TFC using old version of John Smith for TFC (1.4). What is alreadycompleted: [*]Almost done GUI. [*]Javelin, Cow and Pig textures. [*]Snow, GrassSide Overlay and GrassTop texture. [*]Returned back items texture from original John Smith Legacy. [*]Add armor textures from old texturepack. You can see and download all textures. All over again... OK. It's been a long time, since i start this thread and my work on this port of John Smith Legacy resource pack plus old forgotten project (here), so now... Whats now? Actualy, nocing has changed. Nevermind. Let's start it again. Here'll be refreshed version of my old work. Actualy, GUI is almost done, but no other parts, as items or models (except armor and some tools, which i took from other those outdated resourcepacks).
