      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [Solved] Gone backwards in time?

I'm trying to breed some more animals in my singleplayer world, and logging in today I seem to have gone backwards in time? My calendar is reporting an earlier date than when I bred my pigs and horses. Screenshots in the link below. If there's anything else people need to help, let me know and I'll try to get it. https://imgur.com/a/AeOWgmE Edit: I'm not the most intelligent. That date is the date of expected birth.
  2. Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No): Yes TFC Version #: [1.7.10]TerraFirmaCraft-0.79.24.816.jar Forge Version #: forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1448-1.7.10-universal.jar SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer): SMP Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No): No, but config changes minor, and detailed below (from diff) Server Properties: server-port=25567 level-seed=1220664886838089196 TFCConfig.cfg B:enableCaveIns=false S:cropGrowthModifier=5.0 I:decayProtectionDays=60 S:foodDecayMultiplier=0.25 I:normalOreUnits=50 I:poorOreUnits=30 I:richOreUnits=70 I:smallOreUnits=20 B:enableOverworkingChunks=false TFCOre.cfg Rarities generally halved, but not fewer than 20. TFC-Tweaks.cfg B:disableZombieFlesh=true B:stackOnPickup=true The rest are vanilla configs. Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No): Yes If yes, which mods? [1.7.10]LeatherWaterSac-3.8.B79.jar [1.7.10]TerraFirmaCraft-0.79.24.816.jar [1.7.10]TerraMisc-0.6.2.jar [1.7.10]TFCUdaryMod-0.2.28.jar TFC-Tweaks-1.7.10-0.3.0.11.jar If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No): No Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report: No Crash Description: While players (at this point, only me) are connected, time forwards as normal. When players are disconnected, calendar time reverts to an earlier period. Last night, disconnected when it was August, 1000. Connected this morning it was June, 1000. Had this issue on a more heavily modded server, and rebuilt using fewer mods, attempting to eliminate issue. Have seen pit kilns with waila saying they had months left to go, etc. No errors or mention of time in server console. No crash.
  3. I installed the latest version of forge and ran TFC. After a while, I noticed I could not access the calendar. After some searching, I realized I had not installed the proper version of Forge. I deleted all of the config files and restarted Minecraft with a profile that had the proper version of forge selected. Clearly, TFC is starting but there's still no calendar. I'm very new to mods but a somewhat technical guy who is frustrated he can't seem to resolve it on his own. I would be grateful for assistance.
  4. Calendar Discrepancies

Suggested Name: Calendar (Bug?)(Issue?) Suggested Category: Minor Description: Not sure if this is intentional, or something that was overlooked, or a bug, but if you watch the hours go by in your calendar (default n) menu, the witching "hour" actually covers 2300-0100 (2 hours), while only lasting 50 seconds, the length of a normal hour. As well, 0500-0600 lasts 1m40s, covering the span of two hours (possibly to counter balance, or possibly to ease the passing over of the day(?), as this occurs at 0500 and 50 seconds, when the hour should be passing to 0600 but does not, and instead the date changes and another "hour (or 50s)" goes by before 0500 becomes 0600) Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?:Yes I checked the sticky and searched the forum and didn't find anything on this, sorry if this is a repeat. Edit: Another observation, temperature changes occur normally between 22-the witching hour-0100 (That is, there are only two temperature fluctuations, even though "3" hours pass) and temperature fluctuations occur as follows between 0400 and 0600: 0400-0500,regulartemperature change, 0500-0500 (occurring alongside the date change) daily temperature change (not the same as hourly, as hourlyfollowsa predictable up and downpattern of a set amount, whereas daily seems to be a "non-set amount, up or down" (quoted info is speculation), 0500-0600 regular change.
  5. Server Calendar Bug/Issues

Calendar on my server resets every time I restart server. I'm playing with my friend on my hamachi server and i can't have server always on. I'm using build 75. If anyone know how to repair that please say how.
  6. Okay, I'm not sure how much of this someone without insight into the code will be able to answer, but I figure, asking never hurts I noticed in the TFC config options for configuring the length of the year in Minecraft days, and the length of the Minecraft day in ticks. Especially the latter of the two greatly intrigued me. Why? For no reason other than because no other mod I've played with before has allowed me to toy with this, and I loooove trying out new stuff! So I began to wonder: what is the immediate effect of these settings, which game systems depend on these values, which are unintentionally affected? Like, if I set the length of a day to a tenth of normal, would the sun actually zip across the sky in the span of a single minute instead of 10, or does it only affect how the internal calendar counts the days? In Dunkleosteus' buil 76 preview video he mentioned that he made animal pregnancy time scale with the length of the ingame year. Are there other game systems that scale? Like, for example fruit trees. The fruit respawns constantly during the month(s) it is harvestable. If I increase the length of the year and/or the length of a day, does the fruit keep respawning at the same rate (thereby increasing output per season), or does it scale back so that you get roughly the same amount of fruit per season but spread out over a longer period of RL time? If the days are longer but the year is on default settings, do animals still need the same amount of ingame days (and thus more RL time) to go through pregnancy? How about trees and crops - how do those react to changing one or both of these settings? Will the player consume food and water more slowly if the day is longer (fixed base consumption per day/night cycle) or do you need twice as much food to make it through a day that lasts twice as long (constant base consumption per tick)? If it's the latter, if you sleep through a night twice as long, does that instant-consume a chunk twice as big as normal on waking up too? ...and what happens if I make the day/night cycle so ridiculously long that sleeping through the night requires more food than the entire bar can hold?
