      Server Move   09/13/2018

      I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup.   1. Portals VS Ships

    Why did you create the portals that allow you to navigate with some fantastic measurements at large distances, that would not overcome the problem with water travel? Add multiple ships(something like what was in Archimedes' Ships), which will need a lot of resources and for travel between the Islands the player will have for a long time to stock up on food and drinking water, also overcoming other difficulties. If you need to reduce the aimless journey, add instead of portals card, which will indicate the location of the Islands.
  2. This config file enables the majority of wood blocks to be used in Archimedes' Ships. It's surprisingly robust with TFC and hasn't crashed for me. Containers should keep their items, and rails will continue to work as normal when the ship decompiles. Minecarts, however, will fall through when it compiles so be careful to put them back on land before you shove off. Also, due to the nature of the mod, you can't use wooden docks without disconnecting them from the ship before you compile it. Take care or you'll end up ripping your dock out of the landscape. I personally use stone so there's no issue. Note: You'll need Minetweaker or something similar to get the recipe for the Helm. If there's demand I can work on a standalone file.
