      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Settlements and Human Mobs

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the suggestions forum?(Yes/No): Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. Yes I was watching someone play some TFC on YouTube, they were in their home they had built and a knock came on there door. This was obviously in the real world, but...It really got my mind working. It would be Interesting, I think, if there was the possibility of traveling Tinker's, Gypsies, and/or Nomad's. If a Tinker would occasionally come by, perhaps once a year, and knock on your door, (You would need a door for him to approach for him to stop) he could offer you the possibility of trading with him. Perhaps with a bartering system, not that standard trading that Vanilla Minecraft gives, but perhaps, trading based on true value. Stones are basically worthless, clay pots and jars are useful and worth a value, and perhaps this could give an interesting use for those occasional gems that you discover. Tinker would offer a variety of things, and nothing in large supply that isn't common anyway, (clay for instance), but perhaps, he has that orange sapling you are missing, Or a couple Soybean Seeds... Odds and ends that maybe you hadn't found yet, but would love to have...perhaps set to the area he is in to carry a few items from other areas in the world based on Z coords. Perhaps you are far north, and he has 20 or 30 ounces of bananas or a banana tree. You trade him a lot, and he gives you something in return. Tinker is the main thing I want to suggest, but also... Gypsies! Another idea like Tinker's except instead of just a fellow with a donkey following end up with a temporary structure (tents or perhaps something that looks like a wagon) that appears and has a few gypsies in it. Possibility of doing some trading of some sort with them similar to above. Magic has been suggested, perhaps the ability to buy a pendant or charm that has some really minor effect. Perhaps increasing one of your skills while carrying it. Making you a better butcher or prospector...Could use the Baubles mod to allow you a way to equip them. Possibly Nomads, friendly or perhaps otherwise??? that will occasionally spawn at one end of your known world and just travel through the area. Allowing for you to have the ability to do some raiding, (difficult!) or be raided yourself. Shouldn't be often, but having them come and raid parts of your crops or supplies would be a whole new level of scary. Also giving you the chance to pay them back later on and raid them, taking their stuff, would be satisfying as well.
  2. Display animal traits

Every so often I'm far from home, go "I need food", then slaughter an animal. Sometimes "far from home" is "half a day." Sometimes the animal drops 36 pounds of pork despite being only slightly larger than the sow sitting next to it. I'd like to avoid this, for obvious reasons. Showing animal size, traits etc when sneaking-next to their Familiarity indicator-would be a good way of going about this. It could be tied into the Butchery skill, displaying "Size: Small/Smaller/Medium/Larger/Large", "Weight: Light/Average/Heavy", etc.
  3. [Solved] Cow Familiarization

Well heres my situation: Ive read tons of comments around the community and seen the changelog a TON of times. When I try to get familiarized with my cows, it simply says: The animal wont let you do that. Thats all the time, with all the grains! Ive already tryied shift+right-clicking, tryied hitting the cows, restarting the server, everything... can someone help me please?
  4. Sheep Familiarity (V 79.10.375)

(Edited to fit request from first reply)Version #: Name: Sheep FamiliaritySuggested Category: Minor-AnnoyingDescription: Sheep of both genders won't increase in familiarity.Deleted config files and issue persists.additional mods: LiteLoader, FastCraft, VoxelMap.Originally believed the problem had been solved after deleting config filesand testing in creative using "/time set day" to progress time in creative and feed a sheep each day. After finding success with that I tried in survival and got one sheep to gain familiarity as well. However over the course of the last few hours the initial sheep in creative and the single sheep in survival are the only sheep to have successfully gained familiarity. I've spawned dozens of sheep in creative and survival worlds and haven't succeeded again. I've closed the client, deleted the config files several times to no avail.
  5. [Solved] Wolf Breeding

Is wolf breeding currently enabled? I am able to heal my male and female dog/tamed_wolf with raw meats but they do not enter "love mode". They have also been together now for at least a year (in game) and the female is not pregnant so ruling out passive breeding. Also on the topic of breeding can pheasants be bred or are they just game animals for now? Can't wait to see more fowl if they're in the works My appologies btw if this is a common question, google only returns old topics (more than a year old).
  6. Animalsplosion

I've seen these two issues all throughout Build 76's various hotfixes, in SMP. I never found the necessary wheat to start animal breeding in any of my SSP worlds. I've seen them happen with all four breedable animals. My fellow players have seen the same as me. 1.) Sometimes, when a pregnant animal gives birth, it will not spawn 1 offspring, but rather 4-8 at once. It's kind of odd when you have a pen with three pigs, two of them pregnanet females, and you come home one day to discover that boom, you now have 15-20 pigs. However, this is not guaranteed to happen; I've also seen a good number of singular births. Now, one of these two cases is probably intended, but which is it? And, why is the other case happening? 2.) Baby animals are extremely glitchy, no matter whether it's one or a dozen. For the entire time they grow up (rightclicking them shows a negative number ticking towards 0, which denotes an adult), the animal will show as running in place, and rapidly flickering back and forth between its actual size and its future adult size. It looks really bad. When I came how to discover my pigsplosion mentioned above, I couldn't bear having the camera pointed at the pen. Now I know you're no longer fixing B76, but please take a look at this in your B77 branch.

hey guys, quick question. How does one lure cows, sheep, etc? Is it just like vanilla where you can just show them some wheat and they come to you? Or do you have to make wheat, barley, oats, etc into grains and then lure them? Or does it need to be just the "wild" type of grains? I've looked it up on the wiki and it doesn't say much. OH! does the season also effect the mating urges for these animals or do they just reproduce whenever?
