      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup. The forum and wiki are now ad free. If you'd like to contribute to keeping it that way, you can do so via paypal or patreon.

Upgrading Decorations Addon to 0.79.29

Hello, everyone! :)

I am new to Java, so I am hoping a C++ and C# background (not professional) combined with Java reference material will be sufficient to the task.

I intend to work off of this code:
https://github.com/Aleksey-Terzi/DecorationsTFC

Because his license seems to allow it:
GPL 3.0 : Permissions of this strong copyleft license are conditioned on making available complete source code of licensed works and modifications, which include larger works using a licensed work, under the same license. Copyright and license notices must be preserved. Contributors provide an express grant of patent rights.

But before I really get started I'd like to ask:
Can I use JDK 9.0.4 for this project?
Can I use Eclipse Luna SR2?

Any advice, tutorials, or mentorship would be greatly appreciated.

Changing version number in thread title for accuracy. Hopefully.

Well, trying it out.

Had to open gradle properties and change
distributionUrl=https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-4.4-all.zip
to make Setup.bat work.

/me crosses fingers

Er, am being asked to select an mcp conf dir for the deobfuscator... I am posting the answer that seems to have worked for me, in case it helps someone else.

MCP conf folder is in you(user)\.gradle\caches\minecraft\net\minecraftforge\forge\1.7.10-10.13.2.1291(your forge version here)\unpacked\conf
