      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup. The forum and wiki are now ad free. If you'd like to contribute to keeping it that way, you can do so via paypal or patreon.

TFCore Config

4 posts in this topic

Anyone have experience with the ore gen configs? Can you add a new entry like “native copper huge deposit” with different characteristics than the regular native copper and “surface native copper” without overwriting them?

i figured that would work, but was curious if anyone has had experience with this kinda idea.

Yes it works. You can add any block from any mod you want into oregen with the config. Just be aware if you make stuff spawn too frequently it can cause a crash. There isn’t a hard line for when it is too much. So just be careful how common you make the veins.

I want to add rare versions of current TFC Ore veins that are very large and dense without overriding the current ore spawns.

Just duplicate  the non surface ore entry you want a dense vein for and edit that. There was a topic on making rare dense veins a while back you might want to search for.
