      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Nuggets and Ore veins.

8 posts in this topic

So I just aquired my first pick and propick! now I need to find copper. I have found native copper nuggets in two spots, is there any relation to the nuggets and there being a actual ore deposite? Cause I have no freaking CLUE where to start looking, other than in the correct rock. I have a large section of Diorite, should I start a mine? If so, what style of mine?

Just start looking near an area with many nuggets/small ores.

In order to keep the forum on-topic, I suppose that the TFCraft prospecting methods would be best, though I am keenly interested in the irl methods as well. :)

I wouldn't wanna put too much on you, Infinus. So long as it's fun for you, just take the thread where you want to go.

Couldn't agree more with ulf. I'd love to hear about the irL techniques, but just do whatever you are comfortable with :)
