      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Canvas? i was thinking more along the native american system of using furs, and skins. But caves could also service this need i suppose.

caves? spelling fail much?

but yeah i guess furs would work but i was more thinking of like the nomads on the steppes of euraisa

I suspect it was a typo as opposed to a spelling mistake :)

Both would work but the nomads on the steppes of eurasia used furs at first as they didn't have canvas, as that requires looms, weaving and a cloth industry :)

have you ever hit a glowing piece of metal to create steel ? its spraying everywhere, if you are doing it alone or you are a newbie

Hitting and heating are two different things though. To handle something, you need gloves. To hit something, you need more protection (mask, apron, gloves, ...).

I agree with what you said though, for the anvil work, maybe more clothing. But just to handle heating/handling, gloves should suffice.
