      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Texture Glitch! everything looks wrong

5 posts in this topic

I have just installed TFC and it is working fine, except this:

As you can see the dirt is darkened moving lava, trees are made of cakes and miscolored rails and oak saplings look like a flat lapis lazuli block. I have Forge, Optifine and TFC all running. Any help to fix this is welcome!

Are you sure you're using the default texture pack? If you would have any extra info, that would be great.

I think I do, where do i get it or is it with the pack? And do I place it in the mods folder or .jar folder?

Ingame (on the main menu after you log in), underneath the Multiplayer button should be a button with Texture Packs on it. Click on it, and then select "Default". The default texture pack is already incorporated within the game itself so you don't have to download/install anything and the option should be there (if it's not there, delete minecraft.jar and then reinstall the mods and stuff). If this doesn't solve the problem, reinstall everything again.

Also, welcome to the forums! I hope you have a nice stay here. :)

It turns out, you have to install Forge, API,TFC, and then optifine last or else it conflicts.
