      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Odd Forging Bug?

This mod absolutely loves me...

Okay, so yesterday after I got my server working from my other thread, everything was going swimmingly. I made some Bismuth picks, made charcoal, found some Zinc ore...

And yet today, when I try to make proper ingots out of the unshaped Zinc, the amount of heat stored in the unshaped units isn't shown. If I use trial and error to guess when it's hot enough, the unshaped Zinc work perfectly fine, and I even made a couple picks out of it... It's just VERY annoying to not see the heat value. Is this some intentional 'hardcore smithing' mode, or just a glitch?

It's a glitch, you should definitely see the heat level. I'm impressed that you managed to make stuff without seeing it.

Well it took me about an hour to even figure out that everything still worked, regardless of the invisible heat levels. Anyone know of a way to fix this? I re-installed the mod completely, with no results.

Yah, my brother and I had the same problem when I updated my server a few days ago.

Couldn't see any heat lvls, I tested in SP and could see them ( I think, don't remember), but got back on server and it was working again, and then later worked for my brother. So not really sure what went on there :).
