      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Food spoil

7 posts in this topic

It would be challenging to make certain foods spoil if not kept cool or dry. It always funny to open a chest and see the thing full of meat. Nice ways around this would be turning meat into jerky and being allowed to turn plants into foods that have a long shelf life.

Uh thanks I guess... I did search for it, kept getting a internal server error. So I took a chance and posted.

yeah, the forums been a bit wonky lately, but it always works for me after one or two refreshes... try a little harder next time, but good to know you actually thought to search before you posted... most newbies don't think to do that

In case you can't find the developer's response to this suggestion, it's that we can't find a good way to get food to spoil in item stacks: you wouldn't be able to stack items with different ages or at different stages of decomp. TFC has enough inventory issues as is
