      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Bug Report Forum is Missing

6 posts in this topic

Maybe this topic belongs in a Bug Report :) but the Bug Report Forum is missing.

1. Everyone knows the Dorrs are still buggy in LAN / SMP but there it is.

2. The Flux slog on the Anvil GUI is buggy and will sometimes eat a whole stack of flux. Also it will sometimes eat the flux when you press WELD but then it doesn't weld the ingots. Even when they are assuredly of the correct temperatures. (I've had to reopen the GUI, add more flux and repress WELD as many as 3 times)

3. When using the option in the TFCOptions.txt config file that allows for a Longer Day Length, the Protection Meter becomes buggy. I've played in the same area of my world for a Week of Real Time, adding hours end to end and the protection meter pops on for a few game hours once a month. It is the end of August in my world, with a 4 Real-Hour day length and 7 days to the month. The meter pops on during the first day of each month after March and then fades out by midday on the 1st.

4. Our animals have been pregnant since mid april and they haven't had any offspring yet. (More than 4 months)

5. Potion Effects from Food Meals are not actualy working. I had a meal with Jump Boost II and it didn't affect my Jump at all. I still got the effect visuals and it showed up in my inventory HUD but no 'effect' at all.

6. the New HOE mode for Nutrients doesn't seem to work. Water mode and Harvest mode both show color overlays when you mouse over cropland but Nutrient mode does nothing. No matter what the color setting are, nada. I tried cropland, tilled land with a crop growing on it and tilled land after a crop had been harvested.Zip.

This IS the bug report forum.

As for #6, are you using a stone hoe or a metal hoe?

The nutrient meter is only available on metal hoes.

Yes, this is where all the bugs go, however I made a central bug list here:

It was a Stone Hoe, I wasn't aware that they were not capable of the Nutrient cheeck. so 'll try a metal one next time.

New Bug found in version 70

1. I tried placing single plank and noticed that:

A. They don't leave my inventory when I place them and

B. When I do place them, they only take up 1/64 of a whole block, so maybe that's intentional.

C. they need a pickaxe to mine effectively, axes take like 30 seconds to break them.

2. All existing Stone Slabs from previous versions are now graphically derpy if they were only 1 thickness. Slabs used to be 10 layers thick and now they are only 8.

Don't use old maps or config files with new versions. You can't effectively test the game that way.

OK, new version, new map, new bug. Bug in version 70.

In LAN play, the remote player tried to chisel a wood planks block (Kapok) and while it did work, they lost the graphic entirely. The host (me) could see the block fine, but it wsn't visible to the other player.
