      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ability to play music

I know that this one will not have much importance to the mod, but I think that players should be able to craft musical instruments, like ocarinas and guitars, and learn how to play them. The sounds could be the same ones used for the note blocks, and there could be an interface that shows the note(s) being played. This would be believable because people created ocarinas and lutes a long time ago.

Sorry that this was so short, I sort of rushed it. But I didn't see any posts about playing music.

fair enough, but now for someone to actually record each note and sound, since the noteblocks hardly properly display a ocarina :D

True, but I think only one sound needs to be recorded, and for differemt notes, the sound is just sped up or slowed down.

I think Java has decent MIDI support. Playing for your friends would be so nice for all the comunity.

EDIT: Hunting elephants to make a piano, anyone?
