About meals

Hello there again ,

As you know , meals do not stack together and it makes perfect sense , but yet , if you are on a journey and you have already filled your inventory with bunch of stuff there is no room left for meals , so how about developing something like ''cold-bag" or "picnic basket" which would only take 1 slot in your inventory , but when you put it in your hotbar slot and select it , a HUD window would open with like 8 slots (something like chests HUD) where you could only put meals ? It would be nice .

I like that food is hard to carry on adventures. This is the exact opposite direction that the mod goes in.

However, there should be some benefit to having a proper meal rather than just carrying around a stack of roasted beef.

4 stacks of random food+4 bowls+knife and you will have 1 stack of delicious meal, no problem there imo

Why do people think they have to instantly convert resources into something that takes up more space or they don't use right away? Make things as you need them. So, do what politehnik said.
