      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

there is no sandstone as of now (correct me if i'm wrong) and if there is you will have a helluva hard time finding it, or mining it for that.

Sandstone is non-existant; we need to now patiently await the arrival of the recipe for crafting sandstone with TFC sand.

I miss it too. And Obsidian. I keep bugging Bioxx about it but he has other stuff to do

Vanilla sandstone does not currently exist, however with vanilla conversion or custom recipes, you can obtain it.

on the suggestion of adding sandstone in, I agree we should have it, and go as far as having it in all the varieties of sand in tfc.

You can still quite easily obtain obsidian bud. Even with a wooden bucket.

Maybe we can implement sandstone as another TFC sedimentary rock? It wouldn't be craftable with sand though, and would spawn the same as every other rock. As far as obsidian, if we did add it, (seeing as you can't go to the nether) we'd probably make it more realistic, just basic volcanic glass with no magical explosion resistant properties

Treyflix is right, dunk, we technically still have vanilla obsidian : It's just really time consuming to get it in big quantities, as lava always has more lava beneath here in TFC... But if i remember correctly, in that guide i made to travel to the nether, i included how to get as much as possible with the minimal resources (pickaxe, wooden bucket).
