      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

there is a strange bug where some dirt blocks generated with the world, while covered of grass have face with a texture very similar to peat if not peats one..

Again, i can't place ingots, on anything, i will try to check every single block, and moreover trying to break a sycamore plank block, in creative, crashed my game, but it happened only one time..

PS i've tried to place ingots on every type on dirt, brick block, raw stone and cobblestone, in addition to a sycamore plank block, negative result

and some of the bricks yield one brick instead of 4 when making with mortar....

They should all create only 1 brick block with 4 bricks and 5 mortar.

Misinformed, disregard. Was thinking of something else.

This is true. About half of the recipes make only 1 brick block while some make 4.

--------------------------------------------

Build 76 Hotfix 8

Points marked with (?) I'm not sure if are intended.

• Sterling silver ingots still have no texture when placed in world due to a typo:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /textures/blocks/metal/Sterlign Silver.png

>Sterlign

• Garlic, Carrot, Soybean, and Red Bell Pepper seeds have errant pixels in the bottom of their texture

• (?) Mutton textures (both) seem too high and far left (?)

Some brick block recipes only craft 1 brick block while some craft 4

• Handstones stack and damage other handstones in the stack

• (?) TFC book recipe isn't shapeless while vanilla's is (?)

TFC books cannot be written in with the scribing table

I'm not exactly sure if they're supposed to make 4 or 1, but it's definitely bugged right now because SOME of them make 4.

Its not a question of freedom, it's a question of balance. And about your issue: are you sure you are holding the crouch button when you are right clicking with an ingot?

Forgive me for that in this case, i'm basing to wiki because i'm too lazy to watch continuesly preview videos of b76 so i didn't know, i thought right clicking was enough u.u well, i don't think 2 options for saving ingots will break balance though :)

And how does putting ingots in chests break the game?

Another bug, I didn't see it in the list. But for some reason (and I've tested it on MULTIPLE client side games and a server) when I craft a barrel to tan hide's after placing the water, or limewater, and procedding to seal it (I'll make a note the game runs horrifically slow on my laptop, without optifine) the game immediatly begins to slow and then seconds after it freezes and will not close unless I run task manager and close it. D: I'm completely stuck right now, as I cannot craft leather. I've re-installed the game completely by itself, and even with the mods that I normally use. (SmartMovement, Rei-Minimap, opitfine) its the barrels. :/ anyone know if it could be fixed?

according to http://pastebin.com/tmUevkpr it looks like the NEI crash is due to the GUI of TFCraft. Or NEI doesnt have a correct class for the GUI.

That reminds me when I was testing TFC with nei the game only crashed when I would open my inventory, but when I would try to knap it would open the Knap inventory fine. It would even show the NEI GUI.

OK folks there is some kind of memory issue with game, not sure what is causing problem. Game loads great runs for few min, then just lags out, I've tried complete fresh install manual and with launcher, how ever i get no crash report. i can run task manager, and when it gets to about 1.3 to 1.5 gigs of ram, the game just stutters and freezes. I did notice java running at 90 to 100%, then all of a sudden a windows service starts up and thats when the pc freezes. Seems to struggle with both programs, i notice an out of memory notice on launcher frame still have no error report, ok pc specs single core amd processor 2 gig ram 512 meg nvidia video card, not the worlds greatest but always worked fine b4. Not sure i can make it give an error report.

I get the same prob on my Mac mini. It is definitely a memory leak. I get no log report either. Perhaps a ball pean hammer and some chewing gum will do the trick?

Hotfix 9

- I can confirm the memory leak. It eats up all of my 8GB RAM :)

- Double clicking on the knapping GUI knaps all fields away.

- Drinking water with a glass bottle will fill your water bar to infinite value. The water level gets reset when you jump into water.

- Instant cooking with a forge

  • Put 1 [Char]coal in the forge
  • Start the fire
  • Put 1 Clay Mold(or anything else that is cookable) and wait until it's done
  • Then right or left click it with another uncooked Clay Mold (it must be only 1 for this to work)
Doing it like this, you replace the uncooked mold with the cooked one, and the uncooked one will also be instantly cooked.

This only works with an item that is cold and has no temp value.

That's it for now...now back to playing :)
