      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Sound Bug

Whenever I play TFC, (I use the modded minecraft, not launcher) around every 10 minutes the sound stops. I don't hear any sounds, but other games and windows work fine. You can fix it by re-logging, and it gets really annoying. This only started when I updated to build 16.

I also have this problem, however for me it's been happening for as long as I can remember. And not only on TFC. It has happened on vanilla and FTB as well. Most commonly after a creeper explosion.

Was actually paying attention this time to when I lost sound, so I check my log and found the following:

So it looks like the problem has to do with Vanilla Minecraft and maybe the version of LWJGL that I'm using.

for fix16 I deleted all my minecraft and reinstall, just to delete unwanted stuff from mods and such things. now in fix18 I lost sound and after, nother play, not even in the menu.

Is it possible that tfc try to play an obsolete sound file that cause the problem? I have not played vanilla for a while so I have no idea if the sound stop there.

Exactly, however the sound file is in the paulscode library, which is vanilla Minecraft.
