      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Upon start up of my TFC Launcher It downloads and runs just fine but when It begins to open up minecraft it appears as a black screen for a few seconds and then closes. I am playing on a Macintosh and recently installed the latest version of Java Development Kit. I was able to play before that.

This is what my terminal says after it closes:

From a quick Google search of "lookup of function JAWT_GetAWT failed" it appears that the problem is caused by using java 7; and reverting back to java 6 should fix it. I know nothing about macs though so I'm not much help. From what I've read you need to launch it with the -nojvm command in your terminal. Something along the lines of

$ java -jar TFCLauncher.jar -nojvm
Once again I'm not super familiar with macs, so I don't know how to help more than that.

Hi Argosto,

I think the TFC launcher might not be working since you are unable to download it from the website. I could be completely wrong but I am sure the TFC launcher links with the website and if it unable to connect you might be getting that error. I know that MultiMC support OSX and you can download that along with TFCraft-Universal-Core, Player API, and Forge 7.7.2.679. That would work for you. If you would like I can get that set up for you and post it in my current work around post for the TFCraft launcher. Just send my a PM and I will get it set up for you.

[update]

I my pack was remove. I guess it did not meet some the the copyright standers. So all you would need to do is download MultiMC with the needed files ( Player API,  Forge 7.7.2.679, and TFCraft-Universal-Core) make sure all files are for 1.5.1

Guide: http://terrafirmacraft.com/wiki/Installation

Let me know if there is anything else I can help out with.

TFC has now upgraded to Build 77 and uses Minecraft 1.6.2

Please try the new version to see if you're still getting the same error.
