Installation

I installed Forge 7.7.2, Player Api and TFC Universal Core Build 76, but when i run MC, there are no mods.

Hi Generallepl,

 

How did you install it? Where did you put the files? What are you using? The Player API for 1.5.1 and Forge go into your MC jar and the TFC core goes into your mods folder. Here is a walk through Guide that might help you some more. I would recommend using MultiMC and just following the steps provided in the guide.

Tried it with MultiMC, but it always crashes.

I use MultiMC to launch TFC.  When you first create the instance, select 1.5.1 and start it. It will download it and run, close it. Then add forge and start again, close. Finally, add the player api and TFC, it should run fine. I don't know why I have to do it this way but its what I figured out.

i found that there are a couple of mods out there, like forge, that have to download special files before they will work correctly. without those files, it tends to just crash. I think its the fact that without the supporting files being downloading before hand, the forge-based mods immediately crash out what you are trying to run. which is why you have to install, start, stop, and repeat for TFC installs.
